The Brazilian national team coach is in Europe on a tour to observe possible new players. Dorival Junior made a stop in London, where he will watch not only games, but also training sessions for Premier League teams. One of the observations took place at Fulham, a team from the southwest of the English capital, where a former Flamengo player plays prominently.

One of the players to be observed is precisely a former Flamengo player. Andreas Pereira, who played for Rubro-Negro between 2021 and 2022, is now a midfield player for the London team.

According to reporter Raisa Simplício, Dorival will have a conversation with Andreas. The player who was born in Belgium, but has Brazilian nationality, played in all of Fulham's games in the 2023/2024 season and is one of the highlights of the Londrina team.

Andreas has already been called up to the main Brazilian team. In 2018, Flamengo's current coach, Tite, took Andreas to two friendlies in the USA, against the home team and against El Salvador. On June 12, 2018, Andreas played 20 minutes against the Salvadorans. After that, he was not called up again.

For Flamengo, he was marked by the loss of the ball that resulted in Palmeiras' goal, which made the São Paulo rival champion of the Libertadores in 2021.
