The former striker of Flamengo Vagner Love has a new home after leaving Atlético-GO. This last Saturday (22), Avaí officially announced the signing of the player. Thus, at 40 years old, the center forward will compete in Série B of the Brasileirão.

 Vagner Love chose to change clubs after not having space at Atlético-GO . In the Goiás team since January 2024, the former Flamengoreturns to Série B, a competition he played with Sport Recife in 2022 and 2023. Love's contract with the Santa Catarina team runs until May 2025.

The Mais Querido hired Vagner Love in 2010 and formed the "empire of love". This is because the striker left CSKA to join Adriano Imperador. However, the player failed to win titles with Rubro-Negro and returned to Russia in 2012.
