The incident unfolded into a heated argument involving Fabrício Bruno and Diogo Barbosa. The red-black defender directed offensive words at the tricolor, calling him a "brat". Bruno to Diogo Barbosa.

Later, the two were once again involved in a heated exchange of words. This time, Fabrício Bruno's insults extended to Fluminense players. "Worse still, you horrible, f***ing bad people, you're a piece of shit." In response, Diogo Barbosa replied: "You just talk". Flamengo's defender, in turn, couldn't contain himself and challenged: "Okay, we'll sort it out there then."

It's not the first time that Fabrício Bruno has gets involved in a heated argument during a classic. Previously, he had a similar disagreement with Vegetti during the clash with Vasco. However, after the game, the two resolved their differences and even met in the condominium where they live. Nino, in turn, was outraged by a foul committed by Gabigol and attacked the attacker.

The Fluminense defender even ensnared the red-and-black, saying: "Did I do something? I didn't do anything." Referee Wilton Pereira Sampaio sent off both players, but Shirt 10 didn't understand the reason for the red card and sought explanations. "I didn't do anything, check with the VAR, go ahead, I'm not leaving. I didn't do anything. What Did I do it? Was it yellow? Yes, I was fouled. Why did you expel me? I need to know why you expelled me, I didn't do anything", asked Gabigol.

The episode, unfortunately, adds another chapter to the long list of disagreements that permeate the Brazilian football scene. Amid the passion of the fans, the intensity of the games often goes beyond the limits of the field and results in regrettable scenes like the one that occurred in the classic between Flamengo and Fluminense. Rivalry, although inherent to the sport, must be faced with respect and fair play, essential values for the integrity and prestige of football. May episodes like this serve as a warning about the need to keep the sporting spirit high, preserving the image and essence of the game, which goes far beyond the four lines.
