This is the case of the Libertadores final, which will be decided between Boca Juniors (ARG) and Fluminense, on November 4th. Conmebol will close the stadium 13 days before, and the last game before the decision will be Flamengo x Vasco, on October 22.
The CBF's decision surprised behind the scenes. Maracanã was not being considered to host the match. Cities such as São Paulo, Brasília, Manaus and Recife were the most popular to host the classic. However, the entity chose the Sacred Temple, in Lionel Messi's possible last game in Brazilian territory in his career.
In addition to the possibility of being without Maracanã due to the match between Brazil x Argentina, it is already certain that Flamengo will have to look for other locations soon. With the stadium closed for the Libertadores final, the clashes against Red Bull Bragantino (29/10) and Santos (01/11) will take place outside Rio de Janeiro. The clash with the Alvinegro team will be in Brasília, but the other match has not yet been defined.

This Wednesday (17), the CBF announced the day that will be the draw for the field hosts for the semi-finals of the Copa do Brasil. The event that will take place at the entity's headquarters, in Rio de Janeiro, will start at 2 pm, next Friday (20).
Still without the field command defined, the semi-final games of the Copa do Brasil are: Flamengo x Corinthians and Atlético-MG x Vasco. Remembering that the dates of the round-trip clashes are October 2nd and 17th.
It is worth remembering that Mais Querido defeated Bahia to qualify for the semi-finals, just as Corinthians got past Juventude. Vasco eliminated Athletico-PR and Atlético-MG beat São Paulo.
Before Flamengo worries about the semifinals of Copa do Brasil, Mais Querido will have another decision ahead. This is because, Rubro-Negro faces Peñarol this Thursday (19th) and on September 26th, in games valid for the quarter-finals of the Libertadores.
In this way, the red-black squad closes this Wednesday Monday (18) preparation for the clash against Peñarol. The game will be the first leg, at Maracanã, at 7pm, this Thursday (19). The match will be broadcast live throughout Brazil on ESPN.
