The General Department of Socio-Educational Actions (Degase), linked to the State Department of Education (Seeduc), received today the Social Responsibility team and observers from the Flamengo base for an assessment of socio-educational students from four hospitalization units in Flamengo. FIFA will announce the venues for the 2025 Super Club World Cup this Saturday (28). The announcement will be made during the Global Citizen Festival. The event will be held in Central Park, New York. Last Wednesday (5), Flamengo's Social Responsibility team, in partnership with observers of red and black grassroots football, visited the General Department of Socio-Educational Actions (DEGASE), linked to the State Department of Education (Seeduc), for interaction with socio-educational students from four of the Department's inpatient units.
On the occasion, four football matches were held and Flamengo representatives had the opportunity to talk to young people about the values of sport, citizenship and expanding horizons.
Understanding that sport represents much more than physical activity itself, consisting of a powerful tool to promote integration, socialization, health and development in all spheres of society, the initiative aimed to bring the message of a culture of peace and motivation, contributing to DEGASE's institutional mission of socio-education.
