Fulfilling a campaign promise made at the end of 2023 by Luiz Eduardo Baptista, Flamengo held its first virtual vote in the Deliberative Council this Wednesday (30). The agenda was the approval of the sponsorship contract with Hapvida , which will have the brand printed on the red-black shirt starting this Thursday (31), in the duel against Atlético-MG, at Maracanã.

"We are fulfilling our commitment to implement remote voting, using technology so that council members can follow the sessions and vote from wherever they are. Our goal is to increase participation and bring even closer those who are physically distant, but always close to Flamengo ," declared Bap. The speech was endorsed by Ricardo Lomba, president of the Deliberative Council:
" We are very proud of what we have provided for the board members today . Many people got involved and worked to ensure that the greatest number of members could exercise their right to participate and vote," said Lomba, in material released by the club.
Despite the digital update, the in-person voting format remains in place. This Wednesday, 192 council members voted at the Gávea headquarters, while another 392 participated remotely. The club called the vote a " significant step forward in modernizing and expanding democratic participation ."
The process included two-factor authentication and end-to-end encryption. " We were very concerned about security and confidentiality throughout the process and arrived at a robust solution that allowed board members to participate from anywhere in the world," explained Frederico Argolo, member of Flamengo 's Provisional Information Technology Committee.
With the approval, Hapvida will invest more than R$70 million in a three-year contract with the club . The brand will be displayed on the upper back of the match, training, and warm-up uniforms of the professional team and the men's U-20 team. The sponsorship will also include backdrops , field signs at the training center, the official bus, and other visibility assets.

In the goalless draw between Flamengo and Cruzeiro , last Thursday (02), striker Gabigol experienced a special reunion with the red-black fans at Maracanã . Even with few minutes on the field, the former Fla player relived memorable moments of his time at the club.
Before the ball rolled, Gabigol greeted players and members of the Rio de Janeiro team. Among the photos, a hug with Filipe Luís, Flamengo 's current coach and former locker roommate, stood out. Palmeiras announced the signing of 19-year-old striker Felipe Teresa from Flamengo. The young player was released by the Rio de Janeiro club on September 22, 2025, after behavioral issues stemming from dissatisfaction with losing his starting spot in the under-20 team.
According to Rádio Itatiaia, the striker's contract with Alviverde will last two seasons, and the São Paulo club will retain 70% of the player's economic rights . Felipe Teresa 's arrival is seen as a strategic reinforcement for the attacking sector and comes at no cost.
Discovered by Independente de Limeira, Felipe Teresa joined Flamengo in 2022, at just 15 years old. In 2023, he was promoted to the main squad, scoring a goal against Grêmio in the Brazilian Championship. Along the way, he accumulated significant titles, including two U-20 Libertadores Cups (2024 and 2025) and two U-20 Club World Cups (2024 and 2025), in addition to the 2025 Carioca Championship.
With notable spells at Flamengo , Felipe Teresa arrives at Palmeiras as a competitive option for the attack , being able to compete for position with the main names of the under-20 team and contribute with mobility and efficiency in finishing.
