GABIGOL FINED AFTER DISCUSSION WITH BOARD

Tite defined Flamengo and announced the 11 starters who will face Peñarol, this Thursday, at Maracanã, at 7pm. However, the Technical Committee opted for precaution and did not list him for the duel against Peñarol due to fibrosis in the region. Gabi is handed over to physiotherapists and physical trainers for the series of decisive games of the season."

Gabigol is suspended for two years from football for attempted fraud in the anti-doping test. However, another topic involving Gávea's number 10 has gained strength again in recent days: the contract renewal with Flamengo. After Mais Querido's representative opened up about the matter, the player's agent spoke out.Rodolfo Landimgave an interview to CBN Radio last Sunday (31) and said that he intends to renew the contract with Gabigol. Remembering that the striker's current contract with Flamengo runs until December 31, 2024, but the president has indicated that he is in no rush to resolve this situation.
