Despite being Flamengo's starting goalkeeper, Agustín Rossi does not rule out leaving the Rubro-Negra team in the future. Having spent time at Boca Juniors and Al Nassr, the Argentine would like to play in the Premier League. The 28-year-old archer recently revealed that Mengão had already turned down an offer from an English Championship team for him. At the time, he did not reveal which club he was interested in.

“If I have a good level, offers may come. I was aware of the interest from a Premier League club that Flamengo ruled out. I'm in the best shape and in the future I'll have another chance", he said in an interview with Argentine radio De La Red. The English club would be willing to invest 7 million euros in his signing, which would be something close to R$40 million at the current price . The previous offer was for an even lower value, but both were rejected.

The red-black board believes that it would not have gained enough with the departure of its owner. In a scarce market for reliable goalkeepers, the club believes it will find other ways to profit financially, without harming the squad.

With a remarkable four-year spell (2017 to 2021) at Boca Juniors, Rossi rejected the possibility of wearing the colors of rival River Plate, but, at the same time, he stated that he would not close the doors to any club.

“For everything I experienced at Boca, today I would say no to River Plate. But I'm at Flamengo and I'm just thinking about that and in the future I'll see the possibilities. I will never close the doors to anyone, to any club. The truth is that anything can happen, but I think about the present”, he concluded.

Carlinhos' performance in the last classic between Flamengoand Vasco, played on Sunday, has generated a wave of criticism and questions from the red and black fans. The striker, who entered the field in the 18th minute of the second half, replacing Bruno Henrique, played a discreet role and ended up failing to help the team in one of the most decisive moments of the match.

The classic, as always, was a game intense and highly anticipated by both fans, with great weight for the championship table and the morale of the teams. However, Carlinhos' entry, which lasted just 27 minutes, was considered below expectations, especially in a scenario where Flamengo was looking for a victory to distance itself from its rivals.

FLAMENGO HAS A DEFICIENCY IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP < /b>

During the 27 minutes he was on the field, Carlinhos barely appeared, failing to influence the game as expected. The player only touched the ball a few times, did not create clear scoring chances and also did not help efficiently in the defensive system. With an apathetic performance, the striker ended up becoming a target of frustration for the fans, who expected more from a player who, at other times, had already demonstrated the potential to be decisive.

The lack of offensive participation was a of the main points raised by critics. In a game that required creativity and boldness to break through the Vasco blockade, Carlinhos was unable to find spaces or impose his presence as a constant threat to the opponent's goal. In classics, where every detail makes a difference, this lack of protagonism weighed even more.

The replacement of Bruno Henrique by Carlinhoswas also a factor that generated discussion. Bruno Henrique, although he was not having a brilliant performance, is a player recognized for his ability to decide games, especially in big confrontations. His departure 18 minutes into the second half was justified by the coaching staff as part of the planning to spare the athlete, who recently returned from injury.

After taking charge of Flamengo, Tite, former coach of the Brazilian national team, made it clear that he is quickly adapting to the club's culture. In recent statements, he highlighted Rubro-Negro's striking characteristic: the incessant search for all possible titles. According to the coach, this spirit of intense competition is something that he not only admires, but is also incorporating into his own work philosophy.

Tite, known for his meticulous and results-focused work, revealed that the Transition to Flamengo involves constant learning, especially in relation to the club's winning mentality. "Flamengo has this culture of fighting for every title. There is no focus on just one competition, the goal is to win everything within reach", he explained.

THE COACH WANTS A COMPETITIVE STYLE

This characteristic is notable in Flamengoin recent years, which has won several important competitions, such as the Brazilian Championship and the Copa Libertadores. Tite, accustomed to pressure and the need for results, states that this mentality is something he is adopting in his day-to-day life at the club. “I see this culture, and this is what we are doing. Flamengo has this requirement, and I am a coach who likes this type of challenge.”

Although Tite has an established career, with successful spells at clubs such as Corinthians and the Brazilian national team, Flamengo represents a new experience for the coach. He is now at the helm of a team that has traditionally had fans calling for victories in every competition they compete in, something he sees as a positive challenge.

"You have to learn every day Even with the experience I have, here I realize that there are very high expectations, but at the same time that's what makes you grow", commented the coach. For him, working at a club that maintains such a high level of demand motivates him to always seek the best.

Nottingham Forest, an English club, made a proposal of 20 million euros, approximately R$ 122 million, official to acquire striker Pedro, from Flamengo. The initial proposal, however, may not be enough to convince the Rio club to release the player.

Flamengo is aware of the European interest, but, internally, considers the offer below expectations for a possible negotiation. Pedro, one of the team's highlights and a key player in the Red and Black attack, has his value recognized by both the board and the fans, which makes any agreement that is not in line with his qualities and the impact he has on the squad difficult.< /p>

FLAMENGO AWARE OF AN "INCREASE" IN THE PROPOSAL

Nottingham Forest, aware of the resistance it will face to secure the signing, is willing to increase the proposal to 25 million euros, around R$153 million. This new offer may bring expectations closer, but it is still uncertain whether it will be enough to seal the deal. Flamengo's board, made up of Marcos Braz and Bruno Spindel, is analyzing the situation carefully and intends to give a definitive answer only after the directors return to Brazil. This cautious stance reflects Pedro's importance to the club, not only in the current context, but also thinking about the team's future planning.

Striker Pedro, since arriving at Flamengo, has established himself as one of the team's main scorers, with important goals in high-profile competitions. His consistent performance attracted the attention of foreign clubs, but Flamengo has always demonstrated a firm stance in keeping the player, especially in the face of offers that do not correspond to the value that the club believes Pedro is worth on the market.
