The CBF published this Monday (6) the summary of Fortaleza x Flamengo, signed by referee Anderson Daronco. In the part dedicated to incidents, Daronco noted that "nothing was unusual" in the match. In other words, he did not report any problem with the var.
According to the press that followed the match, the VAR was not operating at the start of the game. The referee himself would have warned the captains of Fortaleza and Flamengo about the problem with the video booth ten minutes into the match, which had already started.
One minute after the game was announced, Flamengo asked for a penalty in a move in which Pedro kicked and the ball hit Brítez's arm. Anderson Daronco scored nothing and, without VAR, the move could not be reviewed. Therefore, Rubro Negro will not know if there was a possible penalty in their favor.
