The fans of Fluminensepractically abandoned his team for the second leg of Carioca's semi-final against Flamengo at Maracanã. The control of the classic is red and black, but in practice, the stadium is divided between the two fans: however, only Fla is expected to attend en masse. The detail caught the attention of the press in general.

Intended for the red and black, the North Sector is already sold out. On the other hand, the Upper East, Lower East, West and Maracanã Mais sectors, which are mixed and Flamengo and Fluminense fans can purchase, are practically sold out. There are few tickets left. However, the rival's exclusive side, classified as Setor Sul, sold only 5 thousand tickets. In total, 45 thousand were sold. It is likely to have at least 40 thousand red and black people. The information is from Venê Casagrande.

Last Saturday, where Fluminense was the home team, the Laranjeiras team filled its sector against Flamengo, but was far from exhausted. The other areas of the stadium were also filled with red and black people. The 'abandonment' by rival fans could be due to the great phase of Mengão de Tite, who conceded just one goal in the whole of 2024 and are going through a great moment.

Speculated as a possible reinforcement of Flamengo to fill the gap left by Pedro, striker Anthony Martial is free on the market, but has not played since December 9, 2023. On that occasion, Manchester United, his former club, entered the field to face Bournemouth and lost 3-0 in the Premier League. Martial was a starter and played for 56 minutes.

At the beginning of the year, the French striker suffered a groin injury that required surgery. Therefore, he was away for around 42 days, only returning in March. Even though there were three months left on his contract, Manchester United chose to let go of the player. Since then, Martial has been evaluating his next club and Flamengo is paying attention to his movements.

Just like Flamengo, Anthony Martial suffered from injuries in 2023/24. The star had several physical problems that kept him away from the field for a total of 60 days. Due to muscle pain, the player was not available for United in 12 matches last season.

Status of the deal between Flamengo and Anthony Martial

If the If Flamengo is really interested in the Frenchman, they will have to race against time and agree on the signing by Monday (9). Registration for free players is closing. According to Italian journalist Luca Bendoni, who works at the Gianluca Dimarzio portal, the deal could come to fruition soon.

Offered to Flamengo by his staff, Martial also had a drop in his personal numbers. In the 2022/23 season, the player scored six goals and provided two assists in the Premier League. In 2023/24, it was just one goal and no pass that resulted in the ball in the opponents' net.
