At his mansion located in Rio de Janeiro, Jojo Todynho was visited by reporter Renata Ceribelli, from Globo's Fantástico program. The meeting focused on sharing the singer's new routine after undergoing bariatric surgery approximately 10 days ago.
During the interview, the 26-year-old artist revealed that her preparation for the surgery began earlier this year, involving practice of physical exercises and a strict diet, which led to a weight loss of more than 20 kilos.
Jojo Todynho stressed: "I never romanticized obesity, in any way. Loving yourself and understanding that the high point of life is when you realize that life belongs to you and that it is your duty to fight for it. My fight has been for health and for improving the quality of life."
With a touch of humor, she joked: "For those watching on Sunday, know you woke up amazing and are going to love this interview." The conversation is scheduled to be broadcast next Sunday, the 20th.

Singer Preta Gil, who took time off from her activities to resume cancer treatment, is expected to return to command “TVZ”, produced by Multishow, on Monday (16). During the absence of Gilberto Gil's daughter, the attraction was managed by Gominho, during live exhibitions. On that occasion, she made some remote entries.
On August 25th, Preta published a video on social media saying that the disease, discovered last year, had manifested itself again in four different places on the body :
“I had bowel cancer that I treated, I was cured of it, I was completely cleared by doctors to pursue a life close to normal. I was doing very well in my rehabilitation and I have periodic tests to be done while I am in remission. Remission is a five-year period in which the cancer can return. My cancer came back.”
The artist said that she received the new diagnosis during routine examinations and that she began chemotherapy treatment immediately. She was admitted to Hospital Sírio-Libanês, in São Paulo.

Singer Jojo Todynho continues to recover after the breast reduction surgery she recently underwent, but is already celebrating the progress made post-operatively. This Wednesday, September 11, the artist shared with her followers on social media that she was released to resume some training and enjoy the sun.
In a series of videos published on Instagram Stories, Jojo revealed your happiness upon receiving medical authorization. "I'm free to train, just from the waist down. I'm free to get a tan. I can't believe it. Let me. I want to fly," said the singer, showing enthusiasm with the progress of her recovery.
Jojo Todynho had already been adopting a healthier routine before the procedure, focusing on a balanced diet and training at the gym. The singer underwent bariatric surgery in August 2023, which contributed to losing more than 60 kilos. The entire weight loss process was monitored by a team of health professionals.
Despite the recent surgery, Jojo is already thinking about carrying out new "repair" procedures. During the conversation with her followers, the singer revealed that she intends to remove the excess skin that bothers her. "I'm going to do some repairs. Not now. In a month, remove some excess, things that are bothering me. Make some repairs. I thought I had a lot of armpits, I'm going to cut off a piece", he joked.
