Jorge Aragão was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in July this year and, at the end of October, announced complete remission of the cancer. The singer, however, revealed that he was not hopeful when he received the diagnosis and thought his life was over.
“I have the biggest fear (of dying). When I received the news about the lymphoma, life was over for me. I couldn't think of anyone who had overcome cancer. I only remembered the friends who had left. It was a sentence, one more", he declared, in an interview with O Globo.
The singer and composer also spoke about the weight of common phrases in life. “I keep hearing people say: ‘it’s so good to look at the sky, so good to see nature, drink, eat’. Jorge Aragão revealed, this Friday (10/27), that he is in remission complete cancer. The singer had been treating the disease since July this year, when he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. The artist's last treatment session will be on November 1st.
