On the eve of the Copa Libertadores semifinals final , Flamengo is in great form as they face Estudiantes. Journalist Milly Lacombe believes there's a clear favorite in the match, but also a significant warning for Filipe Luís's team .

Rubro-Negro maintains its lead in the Brasileirão and has maintained an unbeaten streak of nearly two months . The last loss was on July 31st, against Atlético-MG, in the Copa do Brasil. Since then, they have played 11 matches, with eight wins and three draws (all 1-1, against Ceará, Grêmio, and Vasco).
Given this performance, Milly considers Flamengo to be far superior to their Argentine opponents: "Flamengo, being emotionally cohesive, is very difficult to come away with a setback. Estudiantes is a much weaker team . In fact, as are almost all teams that face Flamengo ," she assessed during the UOL News program.
Despite being the favorite, Milly emphasized that the 2-1 lead from the first leg still requires attention: " Flamengo has a lead. It's not a solid one, but it's a lead . They can, of course, come up with a game plan that surprises Flamengo."
The return match between Estudiantes and Flamengo takes place this Thursday (25), at 9:30 pm (Brasília time), in La Plata. Mais Querido advances with a draw , while the Argentines need to win by two goals to qualify.

The decisive moment has arrived. This Thursday (25), Flamengo faces Estudiantes , in La Plata, seeking to confirm its place in the Libertadores semifinal. The Mais Querido has not reached this stage since 2022, the year in which it was continental champion .
Coach Filipe Luís remains without Erick Pulgar, who is recovering from a broken foot suffered during the Club World Cup against Bayern Munich. The Chilean underwent surgery and has already begun physical therapy, but he is not yet ready to return. Another absence is Michael , ruled out after experiencing pain in his left ankle. The striker did not even travel to Argentina, despite not being among the coach's top options recently.
While there are some absences, Filipe Luís has an important reinforcement: the return of Jorginho. The dispute between Flamengo, Libra, and Globo over the broadcast rights to the Brasileirão has entered a new chapter . Flamengo obtained a favorable ruling that could directly impact the revenue-sharing model among Serie A clubs.
On Wednesday (24), Judge Lúcia Helena de Passo, from the Rio de Janeiro Court of Justice, accepted Flamengo 's request and determined that Globo deposit in court the amounts related to the Libra member clubs . Thus, the club avoids additional losses in the distribution of quotas linked to the audience, as revealed by journalist Venê Casagrande.
The main disagreement lies in how revenue is divided. The proposal advocated by Libra clubs provides for an equal distribution of audience-related revenue . Flamengo , however, considers this model unfair.

According to Flamengo's board, the logic should take into account the number of subscribers each club attracts. As an example, Flamengo cited a game against Bragantino, in which the majority of viewers would be Mengão fans . In this scenario, dividing the funds equally would, in the club's view, be disproportionate.
"I understand that Flamengo's entry into Libra was very detrimental to Flamengo. I estimate the club lost somewhere around R$450 to R$500 million in five years . This is a challenge we already face, and as Flamengo's director, I don't accept this situation," president Luiz Eduardo Baptista, known as Bap, declared in April.
