|
0Buchecha, one of the most prominent artists in the funk melody genre, paid tribute to MC Marcinho, who left us in August this year, and emphasized the funk singer's significant influence on the segment. During an interview with Holofote, Buchecha highlighted Marcinho's remarkable consistency in his musical career.
According to Buchecha, all artists are important, but Marcinho stood out for his incredible consistency. The legacy left by Marcinho is truly remarkable. His music catalog is widely known and appreciated by everyone, which makes him a figure of great importance in the world of funk. Buchecha, who is an advocate of funk melody and the style that can be enjoyed by all ages, praised Marcinho's lasting impact on the genre.
“Everyone is important, but I think Marcinho was the guy who had more consistency, you know? He has a wonderful legacy. You take his collection, it's a collection that everyone knows, they know it from end to end, so it's very important for funk. Not only important for me, as I am a defender of funk melody and funk that the whole family can listen to, so to speak”, he declared.
However, even with this emphasis on Marcinho’s importance, Buchecha emphasized that In the universe of funk, no one is sovereign. He believes that all artists have the same relevance and contribute in a unique way to the richness and diversity of this musical genre. For Buchecha, all funk artists form a cohesive group, and he does not seek to make hierarchical distinctions between them.
“I think he has a very big importance. I usually say that we are all the same size. I don't have that look, you know? Of who is more important, so and so is more important. I think we are one.”

Buchecha's partner was buried at the Carmo Memorial, in Rio

0The remains of former singer Claudinho, a duo from Buchecha, disappeared from the tomb where he was buried. The funk singer's body was buried in the Memorial do Carmo cemetery, in the north of Rio de Janeiro, in a tomb perpetuated for the artist.
According to information from columnist Alessandro Lo-Bianco, upon discovering his disappearance, the singer's widow , Vanessa Alves, took legal action. This is because the site administration removed Claudinho's ossuary from the tomb, without the family's knowledge and consent.
Vanessa found out that they had changed the name of the person buried in the tomb through a video on YouTube , from a fan who went to visit the grave. When she saw the images, she realized that it was another person buried in Claudinho's place.
At the time of Claudinho's death, the record label Universal Music, which managed the duo's career, made the space available, donating -o to the singer's relatives. However, when she questioned what had happened, Vanessa was shocked.
“They informed me that they carried out the exhumation after trying to contact the family by telegram. (…) Be very sad. As it is a perpetual deposit, they should not open it”, he said.
Now, the case will be investigated by the Rio de Janeiro Court of Justice, as the space was clandestinely sold to another family in 2021 and another body occupied the place where Claudinho's remains should have been.
