Barcelona's next season already has its first casualty confirmed: Vitor Roque will not continue at the club. The information, broadcast by radio station Cadena Ser, in Spain, reveals that the young player is not part of the plans of Xavi, the current coach of the Catalan team. Deco, the director responsible for signing Roque, has already outlined that the Brazilian will be loaned, indicating a new direction for the football promise.

André Cury, manager of Vitor Roque, rules out the possibility of a loan departure. A week ago, the agent expressed criticism of the Barcelona coach and stated that the player's fate would be clear: "either he stays, or he is sold". This position suggests an impasse between the club and the athlete's representative, adding a layer of tension to the situation.

FLAMENGO HAS EYES OPEN ON THE MARKET

Despite high expectations generated by fans and the Spanish press around Vitor Roque, his time at Barcelona was discreet. The striker, just 19 years old, was acquired at the end of the previous year for a significant amount: 74 million euros, the equivalent of R$410 million, considering fixed values, bonuses and taxes. However, his participation on the field was limited, with only 13 games played, starting in just two of them, and scoring two goals in total.

In the last four games of Barcelona, Roque didn't even leave the bench. The absence of the young talent in crucial matches, such as the defeats to PSG, Real Madrid and Girona, and in the only victory against Valencia, highlights his marginalized situation in the team. His last game for the club was in the 1-0 win against Cádiz, in which he started and was substituted 17 minutes into the second half, indicating a lack of confidence on the part of the coaching staff.
