On Tuesday, 25th, Ludmilla launched the fourth edition of the acclaimed “Lud Session”, an acoustic project that debuted in 2021 and has already provided memorable audiovisual collaborations with Xamã, Gloria Groove and Luísa Sonza. This time, in response to numerous requests from fans, the artist invited IZA to participate in this powerful meeting.

In this new edition, the two singers unite their voices in a medley of five songs, starting with “Morrer de Viver ”, from Ludmilla’s debut album, “Hoje” (2014).

They also present fans with “Tô Querendo Mais”, from Ludmilla’s second album, “A Danada Sou Eu” (2016), sung live for the first time. In addition to these, they perform “Sem Filtro” and “Saudade Daquilo”, hits from IZA’s repertoire. To top it off, they present a cover of “Embrasa”, a song released by Vitão and Luccas Carlos in 2019.

AN INNOVATIVE PROJECT

“'Lud Session' is an innovative project, where we revisit songs with a new arrangement, a new look. People like to listen to old things and I loved singing these songs that are so important in our career”, comments Ludmilla. “And having the opportunity to have IZA participate in this project was incredible, especially because she is pregnant with Nala. Together, we were able to give new life to these songs that we love so much, as well as celebrating our friendship and passion for music”, she concludes.

In the week she released the fourth edition of 'Lud Session', featuring IZA, Ludmilla revealed that she has plans to tour the acoustic project. For the audiovisual, the artist from Duque de Caxias has already received names such as Gloria Groove, Luísa Sonza and Xamã.

“Do you know what makes me happy? I'm sure that if we put the 'Lud Session tour' on the street, it will be a hit. I'm going to take advantage of this space to say that, yes, there is the 'Lud Session Tour' project, but it will be something very minimalist, different from anything I've ever done. It's going to be a show designed for theater”, said Ludmilla on the TVZ program, on Multishow, presented by Preta Gil.

“Because I've already done a show like that, I've filmed it, but I haven't published it. It was already a project of mine to do a more acoustic show to have in my catalog and I started to mature. Yes, come on!”, he added.

“Lud Session is an innovative project, where we revisit songs with a new arrangement, a new look. People like listening to old things and I loved singing these songs that are so important in our career. And having the opportunity to have IZA participate in this project was incredible, especially because she is pregnant with Nala. My Sister and Me, is the new Brazilian comedy that hits theaters this Thursday (28). For this, director Susana Garcia cast a pair of strong protagonists: Ingrid Guimarães and Tatá Werneck. The film, in addition to bringing together the two actresses, brings back, in a tribute, the comedian Paulo Gustavo, as well as appearances by Arlete Salles, Márcio Vito, Iza, Lázaro Ramos and Taís Araújo.

In the plot, Ingrid and Tatá play sisters Mirian and Mirelly. While the first lives in Goiânia and lives for her family, the second works as a nanny in Rio de Janeiro, but pretends to have a dream life with several famous friends. When Dona Márcia (Arlete Salles), mother of the duo, decides to run away from home after being “dismissed” by them, the protagonists travel around Brazil after the matriarch.

The “straight” sister is Ingrid Guimarães, but , as incredible as it may seem, the actress looked to her family for inspiration to play the character. Born in Goiânia, the comedian composed Mirian based on her aunts.

In one situation, the two stop at a hotel on the side of the road. In the room, they watch a scene on television from Dona Hermínia, a character immortalized by Paulo Gustavo. Ingrid, Tatá and Susana, director of several of the actor's projects, were great friends of his, who died in 2021, a victim of Covid.

“It was a way that we created to bring him. I'm sure if he were here, he would be applauding, loving it. When we saw that there was a scene that was from television, supporting Telecine, at the time, I had no doubt: ‘Dona Hermínia’. And Ingrid and Tatá loved it. We wanted him there because I think he brings good energy, brings love, which is what the film is, which is what Paulo Gustavo decreed.
