Ludmilla is the pop artist with the highest number of streams on Spotify in the first half of 2024. With 23 songs released in the period, the singer reached the impressive mark of 233 million reproductions on the platform, reinforcing her position as one of the biggest names of Brazilian music.
In February 2024, Ludmilla and Ivete Sangalo reached first place together on Spotify Brazil with "Macetando", the hit that dominated carnival across the country. At the end of the same month, Ludmilla released the long-awaited album Numanice #3, which has already accumulated more than 50 million streams on all platforms and includes big hits that quickly won over the public.
In April, before Becoming the first Afro-Latina artist to headline a show on the main stage of Coachella, one of the biggest music festivals in the world, Ludmilla released the single "Piña Colada" with Colombian Yan Castro.
At the end of June , the artist revealed the fourth edition of Lud Session, an acoustic project that debuted in 2021 and has already provided striking audiovisual collaborations with Xamã, Gloria Groove and Luísa Sonza. This time, after many requests from fans, Ludmilla invited IZA to participate in the project, celebrating the meeting of two of today's greatest black artists.

Singer Preta Gil, who took time off from her activities to resume cancer treatment, is expected to return to command “TVZ”, produced by Multishow, on Monday (16). During the absence of Gilberto Gil's daughter, the attraction was managed by Gominho, during live exhibitions. On that occasion, she made some remote entries.
On August 25th, Preta published a video on social media saying that the disease, discovered last year, had manifested itself again in four different places on the body :
“I had bowel cancer that I treated, I was cured of it, I was completely cleared by doctors to pursue a life close to normal. I was doing very well in my rehabilitation and I have periodic tests to be done while I am in remission. Remission is a five-year period in which the cancer can return. My cancer came back.”
The artist said that she received the new diagnosis during routine examinations and that she began chemotherapy treatment immediately. She was admitted to Hospital Sírio-Libanês, in São Paulo.

On September 13th, singer Ludmilla, also known as the current Queen of Favela, performed her first show at Palco Mundo, in Cidade do Rock. After her last participation in Rock in Rio 2022, where she drew crowds on the Sunset Stage, the artist from Duque de Caxias, one of the greatest singers in Brazil and the most listened to black singer in Latin America, performed the long-awaited show on the festival's main stage , which celebrates 40 years of history.
Despite a possible cancellation due to the structure it had planned, Ludmilla took to Palco Mundo with great hits such as “É Bom”, “Fala Mal de Mim” and “Mina de Fé”. After the performance, the artist vented, stating that not everything went as planned, but that she had fun feeling the emotion of stepping on the main stage of Brazil's biggest musical event for the first time.
“I waited a long time . Of the singers of our generation, I think I was the last to step on stage. No matter how many circumstances occurred, in the end, it was all worth it. It was a dream come true”, said Ludmilla at a press conference.
