Flamengo has officially announced the renewal of the contract of winger Gui Deodato for the 2025/26 FlaBasquet season. Champion of the Super 8 Cup and the Basketball Champions League Americas (BCLA) last season, the player, who has won over the fans since his arrival, will continue to wear the Sacred Mantle for another year.


With a strong personality and consistent performance, Gui has established himself as a key player in the red-and-black squad. In the BCLA final against Boca Juniors, he was the team's top scorer with 16 points. During the Super 8 campaign, his leading role was also evident, being decisive in winning the competition's third title — the second with his presence on the court.


“I am very happy to have renewed my contract with Flamengo this season. It will be a special year, especially because of the World Cup , which is something I have always dreamed of. So, the expectations for this season are high, I am extremely happy, excited and keen for everything to go well in another season with Mengão”, declared the winger.


RUAN MIRANDA CONTINUES AT FLABASQUETE
