MC Daniel presented his new look last Thursday (27). The singer went platinum with his hair, but ended up suffering a chemical cut and had to shave his head with a machine. To his followers, he showed the process and also the final result of his “transformation”.
“I went to platinum my hair and look what happened. Look, bro, Jesus Christ, I’m going to shave it all off,” he said. In the caption, he detailed the situation a little more. “Condition of the young Brazilian's hair after chemistry with a charred barber.”
In the sequence, he filmed himself with his hair shaved and in the barber's chair. “I still look pretty,” he joked. Finally, he appeared platinum and questioned his followers. “Do I look good?”
MC Daniel used social media to show something new to his followers: he had a luxurious gold prosthesis placed on his teeth. Popularly known as grillz, the item is a metal plate that covers the dental arch. In the artist's case, it is plated in 18-karat gold. “I like the parade”, he argued.
He showed that he bought three models of the accessory: silver plates plated in 18-karat gold, valued at R$11,900; another in silver plated with rose gold, worth R$15,100; and a 950 silver grillz studded with zirconia, costing around R$13,500.
The pieces are custom-made to adapt to each client's teeth. To achieve the ideal result, stores rely on 3D, digital modeling or common molds. The item, which is part of hip hop culture in the United States, began to become popular in the 1990s and was promoted by several musical icons such as Madonna and rappers such as Kanye West.
