Coach will begin work at the club that will last until the end of 2024

0After a long level and rounds of negotiations, Tite is Flamengo's new coach. The coach and the club reached an agreement until the end of 2024. Therefore, he starts working this Tuesday, as football vice Marcos Braz has already stated.
It is worth remembering that Marcos Braz, the person responsible for the entire negotiation process with Tite, gained support from president Rofoldo Landim to closely monitor the new coach's work. With this, Flamengo's football vice-president will maintain his role in the commander's day-to-day life, with daily conversations inside or outside Ninho do Urubu.

It is important to highlight that the agreement between Tite and Flamengo took place last Sunday (08). At the meeting held, the financial obstacles were resolved and the new commander of Mais Querido returned to coaching a club after 8 years.
Tite will have eight days of training until the date scheduled for his debut, against Cruzeiro, on the 19th, at 7pm, at Mineirão, for the Brasileirão. Rubro-Negro is currently in fifth place, 11 points behind leader Botafogo.
Even without the signature yet, it is within the Red-Negro plan that the coach be introduced and lead his first training session already in Tuesday, the date of the cast's return after two days off. On Saturday, the team, led by interim Mário Jorge, drew with Corinthians in São Paulo.
The teams play the first game of the quarterfinals at 7 p.m.

0Tite defined Flamengo and announced the 11 starters who will face Peñarol, this Thursday, at Maracanã, at 7pm. De la Cruz returns to the starting lineup in place of Léo Ortiz, and Alex Sandro and Plata were retained. Check it out:
"The Clube de Regatas do Flamengo informs that the athlete Gabriel Barbosa underwent tests that did not diagnose an injury to the posterior muscle of his right thigh. However, the Technical Committee opted for precaution and did not list him for the duel against Peñarol due to fibrosis in the region. Gabi is handed over to physiotherapists and physical trainers for the series of decisive games of the season."

Match in Salvador records Globo's biggest audience in a Copa do Brasil game in Rio de Janeiro this season

0The match between Bahia and Flamengo, valid for the quarter-finals of the Copa do Brasil, which took place last Wednesday fair (28) in Salvador, broke TV Globo's audience record for a competition game in Rio de Janeiro this season.
With narration by Luis Roberto and comments by Júnior and Roger Flores, the match marked a significant increase of 42% in audience, equivalent to eight points more than the average recorded in previous games of the tournament. Each audience point represents 111 thousand viewers.
Flamengo left victorious in the match 1-0, which guaranteed them an important advantage for the second leg of the quarter-finals. The goal was crucial for the Rio team, who are still in contention for the Copa do Brasil title.
Now, the team is preparing to face Corinthians this Sunday (1), at the Neo Química Arena, in São Paulo, in a game valid for the Brazilian Championship. The match will be broadcast on Globo throughout Brazil, starting at 3:40 pm, right after the first part of the program 'Domingão com Huck'.
Journalist Mauro Cezar Pereira analyzed Flamengo, highlighting the team's stance in the face of embezzlement and the strategy adopted by coach Tite. According to Mauro Cezar, Flamengo knew how to prepare for the match, despite the adversity, and praised the coach's performance. He responded to criticism from some of the fans who consider Tite to be a "backward" coach.
“For me, yesterday's game was like Tite, not that he only builds defensive teams. The 2015 Corinthians weren't like that, and Paquetá was a midfielder in the national team, so this argument is nonsense and a terrible lack of knowledge. Now, he knows how to build teams this way and yesterday was exactly that”, said the journalist during the Bate Pronto program.
