After returning from Portugal, where he was on loan from Chaves, goalkeeper Hugo Souza decided to move to Corinthians. The young Flamengo goalkeeper was loaned again by Mais Querido to the São Paulo team until the end of the year.
According to information from GE, Hugo Souza has already signed with the São Paulo club where he will play for one season. The athlete arrives to reinforce Alvinegro after the departure of Cássio and possibly Carlos Miguel.
HOW MUCH WILL FLAMENGO RECEIVE?
Mais Querido will receive around 200 thousand euros (R$ 1.19 million) for Hugo Souza's loan. In order to keep the goalkeeper from January 2025, Corinthians will have to pay another 800 thousand euros (R$ 4.7 million) to Rubro-Negro for 50% of the player's economic rights.
The price fixed between Flamengo and Corinthians is lower than the loan to Chaves (POR). In the agreement, the Portuguese club paid around 1.2 million euros (R$ 7 million).
FEATURED IN EUROPE
Hugo Souza does not enter the field for a team since April 27th, when he started for Chaves, against Casa Pia, in the 31st round of the Portuguese Championship. Despite being a standout on the Portuguese team and being considered one of the best in the competition, Hugo was unable to prevent the team's relegation.
The striker arrived at the team with high expectations, but has been getting few opportunities on the field and intends to define his next steps only in 2026.

Seeking space in attack, Gabigol, formerly of Flamengo , is experiencing a moment of frustration at Cruzeiro. The number 9 has received few opportunities since joining the Minas Gerais team , accumulating limited minutes under coach Leonardo Jardim.
Despite his dissatisfaction, the striker has no plans to leave Toca da Raposa at this time. According to information released by Bolavip, the player intends to stay until the end of the season , when he will reassess his future in Brazilian football.
Gabigol 's arrival at Cruzeiro generated significant attention, particularly due to his winning record at the club, where he established himself as an idol and multiple champion. Expectations were high that the striker would become a key player in the Cruzeiro squad.
However, the reality has been different. Despite his impressive performance at Mineirão and being among the highest-paid players in the group , the striker hasn't earned a starting spot and has been used only as an option on the bench.
While Gabigol seeks to establish himself at Cruzeiro, Flamengo continues its preparation for the rest of the season. After the break for the FIFA Date, the technical committee led by Filipe Luís works behind the scenes aiming at the match against Juventude , next Sunday (14), at 4 pm, at the Alfredo Jaconi stadium, for the Brazilian Championship.
Even without a contract after leaving Al-Duhail, the 32-year-old Moroccan striker was offered to Mais Querido, but did not excite the red-black leadership

Even with the transfer window closed, players without contracts can be signed by any team . It was in this scenario that Hakim Ziyech , the Moroccan striker formerly of Chelsea, was offered to Flamengo .
Despite his agents' efforts to find a new destination, the board showed no interest in signing him. At 32, Ziyech no longer displays the same intensity he had when he excelled as a speedy and creative winger.
The player's recent career includes stints at Chelsea, between 2020 and 2023, and Galatasaray. In 2025, he played for Al-Duhail in Qatar, but left the club after just six months on his contract . During that time, he played 13 matches, scored one goal, and participated in campaigns in which the team finished runner-up in the Qatar Cup and reached the quarterfinals of the Emir Cup.
According to information gathered by the Gazeta do Urubu portal , Mais Querido has no plans to move forward with negotiations at this time . The board is reportedly satisfied with the squad assembled for the end of 2025 and there are still no projections for 2026.
Hakim Ziyech began his professional career in 2012 with Heerenveen in the Netherlands . He later played for Twente and gained worldwide recognition with Ajax, where he established himself as one of the team's biggest names. His performances led him to Chelsea in 2020, and later to stints with Galatasaray and Al-Duhail.
The Rubro-Negro idol received inquiries from the rival Tricolor, but refused out of respect for his history at the club, strengthening his emotional bond with the Most Beloved.

Signed by Bahia in 2024, after ending his cycle at Flamengo, Everton Ribeiro could have followed another path in Brazilian football. During his participation in the program Fechamento, on SporTV, last Sunday (7), former midfielder Felipe Melo revealed that he pressured president Mário Bittencourt for the midfielder to be signed by Fluminense .
"Fluminense wanted it. I kept pestering the president and saying, ' Bring it, bring it, bring it here. It has to come, it has to come.' I always thought it would be almost impossible because I'm an idol at Flamengo , which is Fluminense's rival, but I was one of the guys who pestered the president. Unfortunately, it didn't happen, and he went to Bahia," Felipe said.
This wasn't the first time Everton Ribeiro 's name was linked to Fluminense. In an interview with TNT Sports Brasil in 2024, the midfielder revealed that he turned down an offer from the Laranjeiras club . According to him, the decision was made out of respect for the trajectory he had built at Rubro-Negro.
"I knew about the interest. I'm especially grateful to the president of Fluminense, who always showed affection and admired my football, but because of everything I experienced at Flamengo, because of everything I achieved there, I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving Flamengo and going to a rival straight away like that. It would be strange for me. I respect the clubs that wanted me, they have their history and I have mine at Flamengo too," said the player at the time.
The midfielder played for the Rio de Janeiro club between 2017 and 2023 , during which time he established himself as one of the club's greatest recent idols. During his career, he won 11 titles: two Libertadores, two Brazilian Championships, one Copa do Brasil, one Recopa Sudamericana, three Campeonato Carioca titles, and two Brazilian Super Cups.
