On the afternoon of last Sunday (21), Flamengo faced Corinthians, in a match valid for the seventh round of the Brazilian Championship, at Maracanã. The team led by Jorge Sampaoli, however, performed below expectations and, despite having suffered pressure from their rival, scored the winning goal in the last minutes. It is important to highlight that Léo Pereira felt discomfort in his right thigh in the final stretch of the match and signaled it to the technical committee. The player ended up falling to the pitch, but as Sampaoli had already run out of stops to make substitutions, it was not possible to remove the defender. With that, the coach ordered the athlete to act as a center forward. Minutes later, to the joy of the Argentine coach, the defender and the Nation, the red and black goal came along with the victory.

Flamengo, this time, focuses in the Copa Libertadores da América dispute. Next Wednesday (24), Mais Querido will face Ñublense (CHI), starting at 9:30 pm (Brasília time), in a game valid for the fourth round of the group stage of the continental tournament. The match will take place at the Municipal Stadium of Concepción, in Chile.

Apesar da euforia pela conquista recente, o tom adotado pela diretoria alvinegra é de cautela e muito respeito ao adversário.
Em entrevista concedida ainda no gramado do estádio carioca, Fabinho Soldado, diretor executivo de futebol do clube paulista, não poupou elogios ao rival. O dirigente foi enfático ao classificar o atual campeão brasileiro como a principal referência técnica do país no momento, ressaltando a dificuldade que o Timão terá pela frente na abertura da próxima temporada.

O mercado da bola promete ficar aquecido em janeiro e, no Flamengo, o planejamento passa não apenas por reforços, mas também por possíveis saídas. A diretoria avalia liberar jogadores com pouco espaço no elenco comandado por Filipe Luís, especialmente aqueles que somaram poucos minutos ao longo da temporada. Nesse contexto, Matías Viña surge como um dos nomes cotados para deixar o clube.
O lateral-esquerdo uruguaio não conseguiu recuperar espaço após a lesão sofrida e viu a concorrência aumentar com a chegada de Alex Sandro. Além disso, Ayrton Lucas passou a figurar como primeira opção no banco, deixando Viña ainda mais distante das oportunidades em 2025.
Entre os rumores de mercado, o nome de Viña voltou a ganhar força. Apesar de parte da torcida pedir mais chances ao jogador, elas não se concretizaram. Segundo o site BolaVip, o clube aceita negociar o lateral e já estipulou o valor mínimo para uma possível venda.

O contrato do uruguaio é considerado longo, com vínculo válido até o fim de 2028. Assim, apenas uma venda antecipada pode tirar o lateral do clube antes do término do acordo.
