On the afternoon of last Sunday (21), Flamengo faced Corinthians, in a match valid for the seventh round of the Brazilian Championship, at Maracanã. It is important to highlight that Léo Pereira felt discomfort in his right thigh in the final stretch of the match and signaled it to the technical committee. The player ended up falling to the pitch, but as Sampaoli had already run out of stops to make substitutions, it was not possible to remove the defender. With that, the coach ordered the athlete to act as a center forward. Minutes later, to the joy of the Argentine coach, the defender and the Nation, the red and black goal came along with the victory.

Flamengo, this time, focuses in the Copa Libertadores da América dispute. Next Wednesday (24), Mais Querido will face Ñublense (CHI), starting at 9:30 pm (Brasília time), in a game valid for the fourth round of the group stage of the continental tournament. The match will take place at the Municipal Stadium of Concepción, in Chile.

O Flamengo tem encontrado obstáculos para negociar jogadores do elenco profissional com clubes brasileiros nesta janela de transferências. Apesar de contar com um grupo numeroso e qualificado, a diretoria avalia que as propostas recebidas no mercado nacional não atingem o patamar financeiro considerado adequado.
Até o momento, apenas um jogador foi negociado com um clube do Brasil, e não fazia parte do elenco principal. Emprestado ao Santos até o meio do ano, Victor Hugo recebeu proposta do Atlético-MG. O clube aceitou vender 50% dos direitos econômicos do meia por 2,5 milhões de dólares (cerca de R$ 13,4 milhões).
As demais movimentações envolveram atletas em fim de contrato ou fora dos planos. O goleiro Matheus Cunha foi para o Cruzeiro, o zagueiro Pablo acertou com o São Bernardo e o atacante Carlinhos se transferiu para o Remo. Também sem vínculo ao fim, o zagueiro Cleiton deixou o clube rumo ao Wolfsburg, da Alemanha.
Internamente, o entendimento é de que a venda de qualquer jogador do elenco profissional exige uma compensação financeira relevante. A avaliação é que, para repor à altura e manter o nível do grupo, seria necessário investir alto no mercado, o que justifica a postura mais rígida nas negociações.
Nesse cenário, a tendência é que Allan não seja negociado com clubes brasileiros, mesmo com o desejo do volante de buscar mais minutos em 2026. As conversas com São Paulo, Corinthians e Vasco não avançaram justamente pela diferença de valores e pela política adotada pela diretoria.
A única negociação em andamento com um concorrente direto envolve Wallace Yan. Houve acordo inicial com o Red Bull Bragantino, mas o clube paulista recuou nos termos e o Flamengo chegou a interromper as tratativas. Ainda assim, as partes mantêm a expectativa de um desfecho positivo até o encerramento da janela.

A possibilidade de mudanças no regulamento do Campeonato Brasileiro voltou à pauta da Confederação Brasileira de Futebol. Atendendo a uma demanda de parte dos clubes, a CBF confirmou que irá debater a redução do número de rebaixados da Série A.
De acordo com informações do portal 'GE', alguns participantes do Brasileirão defendem a diminuição de quatro para três clubes rebaixados da Série A para a Série B. Caso a proposta avance, a alteração também impactaria diretamente a divisão inferior, com a redução de quatro para três acessos da B para a elite do futebol nacional.
Além do debate sobre o rebaixamento, a CBF pretende colocar em discussão outros pontos sensíveis do campeonato. Entre eles estão o uso de gramado sintético e o limite de jogadores estrangeiros relacionados por partida.
Atualmente, cada clube pode inscrever até nove atletas nascidos fora do Brasil por jogo. Nos últimos meses, algumas equipes passaram a defender a redução desse número, sob o argumento de que o alto contingente de estrangeiros prejudica a formação e a utilização de jovens jogadores brasileiros.
Apesar da sinalização de que os temas serão debatidos, a CBF ainda não definiu uma data para a reunião com os clubes. A tendência, no entanto, é que as conversas aconteçam ainda no primeiro semestre de 2026, antes do início das fases decisivas da Copa do Brasil. As possíveis mudanças, caso aprovadas, só passariam a valer após consenso entre os clubes e adequação ao regulamento geral das competições nacionais.

Na última quarta-feira (04), o Flamengo recebeu o Internacional no Maracanã e ficou no empate em 1 a 1, em duelo válido pela segunda rodada da competição nacional. O resultado ampliou a sequência negativa da equipe, que agora soma quatro partidas consecutivas sem vitórias.
Após o apito final, o lateral-direito Guillermo Varela utilizou a zona mista para fazer um diagnóstico sincero sobre o momento vivido pelo clube, apontando o condicionamento atlético como o principal vilão. Ao ser questionado sobre as dificuldades encontradas pelo Flamengo neste início de temporada, Varela foi direto ao identificar a raiz do problema.
Para o defensor, a questão física é o fator preponderante que desencadeia outras falhas, inclusive técnicas. Segundo ele, a falta de resistência compromete a tomada de decisão e a execução das jogadas: "É lógico que é físico. Mas, se você não está bem fisicamente, não estará na qualidade, porque se não tem ar o suficiente para ir e voltar, vai perder em qualidade", explicou o uruguaio.
O jogador, no entanto, demonstrou otimismo quanto a uma virada de chave, condicionando a melhora do time à evolução na preparação atlética. "Então, quanto mais rápido o time voltar a estar 100% fisicamente, voltaremos a fazer o que fizemos há um mês. É o que nós queremos, e a torcida também", completou.
Dentro das quatro linhas, o confronto apresentou um primeiro tempo equilibrado, mas com roteiro conhecido: o Flamengo deteve a maior parte da posse de bola, porém encontrou dificuldades para transformar o controle territorial em chances claras de gol. A ineficiência ofensiva foi punida nos acréscimos da etapa inicial, quando Rafael Borré balançou as redes aos 48 minutos, colocando o Internacional em vantagem.
