Vice-President of Football at Flamengo, Marcos Braz was at the CBF headquarters this Thursday (18) to follow the draw for the round of 16 of the Copa do Brasil. Upon arrival at the entity's building, in Barra da Tijuca, the top hat responded to the press about important topics for Rubro-Negro.
Asked about the interest in signing attacking midfielder Claudinho, from Zenit (RUS), the leader stated that the stage of conversations is not advanced enough to reach an agreement. “When Flamengo feels [that it can close], it will take the plane. We have to be comfortable to make the final move. It's not at that moment yet", said the top hat.
“They don't want to sell Claudinho, we are negotiating. Flamengo hired De La Cruz, Léo Ortiz, Viña, who played in the World Cup. He appeared there in the last five days a bombardment [of names] that Flamengo does not work in the window.” Asked about the “priority” between Claudinho and Lucas Paquetá, Braz was direct: “Whoever comes first”. According to journalist Venê Casagrande, Pisa, recently promoted to the Italian football elite, made a loan offer for the player, but the terms of the negotiation did not please the red-black board, which chose to reject the proposal.

Flamengo has taken an important step towards finalizing the permanent transfer of midfielder Victor Hugo, 21 , to Famalicão, in Portugal. The Portuguese club has presented a purchase proposal that was considered satisfactory by the red-black board, which has already authorized the player's representatives to define the contract terms with the Europeans.
The expectation is that the contract with Famalicão will be valid for three seasons . The values involved in the negotiation were not revealed. The information was released by journalist Venê Casagrande.
NO SPACE IN THE CAST
Victor Hugo recently returned to the club after a loan spell at Goztepe in Turkey. The contract with the Turkish club included a buyout clause set at 8 million euros (approximately R$51 million) , but the European team chose not to exercise the option. Without a place in the squad led by Filipe Luís, the player is not part of the plans for the rest of the season.
Initially, Famalicão discussed the possibility of a new loan , but the talks evolved into a permanent transfer, considered the most advantageous solution by Flamengo 's football department.
