Vice-president of football at Flamengo and councilor in Rio de Janeiro, Marcos Braz was involved in a fight with a fan last Tuesday (19), in a shopping mall in the capital of Rio de Janeiro. After what happened, the Partida Liberal (PL), to which the leader is affiliated, says it believes that, based on the facts presented, Braz was “provoked”.

According to news from 'O Globo', the PL will await the police investigation. At the moment, the party leadership will not propose any measures against Flamengo's vice-president of football. Altineu Côrtes, president of Partida Liberal, believes that the councilor ended up reacting badly to the provocations of fans in the shopping mall.

During the press conference, this Thursday (21), Marcos Braz stated that he was a victim of the situation, and that he only got involved in the fight with the fan, as he was threatened with death, and so was his daughter. “I am a victim. I'm not ashamed of being a victim. I am a victim being a councilor in Rio de Janeiro, I am a victim being vice-president of football at Flamengo! I always get insulted”, said the vice-president of the Rio club.

The version of Leandro Campos, involved in the fight with Marcos Braz, will be heard in an interview this Friday (22). The fan's lawyer even claims that the red-and-black was attacked, and denied any type of threat to the leader.

Carlinhos' performance in the last classic between Flamengoand Vasco, played on Sunday, has generated a wave of criticism and questions from the red and black fans. The striker, who entered the field in the 18th minute of the second half, replacing Bruno Henrique, played a discreet role and ended up failing to help the team in one of the most decisive moments of the match.

The classic, as always, was a game intense and highly anticipated by both fans, with great weight for the championship table and the morale of the teams. However, Carlinhos' entry, which lasted just 27 minutes, was considered below expectations, especially in a scenario where Flamengo was looking for a victory to distance itself from its rivals.

FLAMENGO HAS A DEFICIENCY IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP < /b>

During the 27 minutes he was on the field, Carlinhos barely appeared, failing to influence the game as expected. The player only touched the ball a few times, did not create clear scoring chances and also did not help efficiently in the defensive system. With an apathetic performance, the striker ended up becoming a target of frustration for the fans, who expected more from a player who, at other times, had already demonstrated the potential to be decisive.

The lack of offensive participation was a of the main points raised by critics. In a game that required creativity and boldness to break through the Vasco blockade, Carlinhos was unable to find spaces or impose his presence as a constant threat to the opponent's goal. In classics, where every detail makes a difference, this lack of protagonism weighed even more.

The replacement of Bruno Henrique by Carlinhoswas also a factor that generated discussion. Bruno Henrique, although he was not having a brilliant performance, is a player recognized for his ability to decide games, especially in big confrontations. His departure 18 minutes into the second half was justified by the coaching staff as part of the planning to spare the athlete, who recently returned from injury.

After taking charge of Flamengo, Tite, former coach of the Brazilian national team, made it clear that he is quickly adapting to the club's culture. In recent statements, he highlighted Rubro-Negro's striking characteristic: the incessant search for all possible titles. According to the coach, this spirit of intense competition is something that he not only admires, but is also incorporating into his own work philosophy.

Tite, known for his meticulous and results-focused work, revealed that the Transition to Flamengo involves constant learning, especially in relation to the club's winning mentality. "Flamengo has this culture of fighting for every title. There is no focus on just one competition, the goal is to win everything within reach", he explained.

THE COACH WANTS A COMPETITIVE STYLE

This characteristic is notable in Flamengoin recent years, which has won several important competitions, such as the Brazilian Championship and the Copa Libertadores. Tite, accustomed to pressure and the need for results, states that this mentality is something he is adopting in his day-to-day life at the club. “I see this culture, and this is what we are doing. Flamengo has this requirement, and I am a coach who likes this type of challenge.”

Although Tite has an established career, with successful spells at clubs such as Corinthians and the Brazilian national team, Flamengo represents a new experience for the coach. He is now at the helm of a team that has traditionally had fans calling for victories in every competition they compete in, something he sees as a positive challenge.

"You have to learn every day Even with the experience I have, here I realize that there are very high expectations, but at the same time that's what makes you grow", commented the coach. For him, working at a club that maintains such a high level of demand motivates him to always seek the best.

A few hours before the decisive clash between Flamengo and Vasco, valid for the 26th round of the Brazilian Championship, the club's vice-president, Marcos Braz, participated in a march in Copacabana. The demonstration was part of his political campaign for councilor in Rio de Janeiro and attracted a large number of supporters.

On his social networks, the leader shared moments from the walk, showing the support of supporters who participated in the event in the famous neighborhood of the South Zone of Rio. The event took place shortly before Mengão's clash against Vasco, which is scheduled for 6:30 pm at Maracanã.

While Braz carried out his political act, the CRF squad gathered concentrated for the important classic. A victory against Vasco could bring Mais Querido closer to the leaders of the Brazilian Championship, especially considering that the club has one game in hand. The result could be crucial for the team's aspirations in the final stretch of the competition.

CONTROVERSIES INVOLVING MARCOS BRAZ

Despite recent major signings, such as Michael, Alcaraz, Alex Sandro and Plata, Marcos Braz's management is not unanimous among red and black fans. The manager has been criticized for the delay in negotiations during the transfer window, which began in July and ended in September. Many fans expressed frustration with the slow movement, especially at a time when the CRF squad is facing challenges with several injuries to important players.

SIGNMENTS LAST MINUTE

Despite the criticism, Braz managed to close major signings, although most of the deals were completed in the last two weeks of the transfer window. These acquisitions are seen as crucial to strengthening Mengão's squad in the search for titles this season.

At the end of the day, in addition to their political performance, Flamengo's performance on the field will be the focus of attention, with the fans hoping that the team will emerge victorious and keep the fight for the Brasileirão title alive.
