Last Wednesday (18), Rodrigo Paiva was dismissed for just cause from his position as communications director at the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF). Initially, it was speculated that the dismissal was related to Paiva's involvement in Ronaldo Fenômeno's campaign for the presidency of the entity. However, new developments brought more serious accusations to light.
According to information from columnist Alicia Klein, from UOL, the 2nd Court of Rio de Janeiro Labor sentenced Paiva, very close to Flamengo, and the CBF in a lawsuit for sexual harassment brought by Luísa Rosa, former director of the confederation.
MESSAGES EXPOSES INADEQUATE BEHAVIOR
The case gained greater repercussion after the publication of WhatsApp messages between Rodrigo Paiva and Luísa Rosa, presented in the judicial process. The contents of the conversations point to personal approaches that go beyond the limits of the professional environment.
In the messages, dated between February and July 2023, Paiva makes comments about his former colleague's appearance, invites her to meet outside of work and claims to "think about her often". In one of the excerpts, he claims to be experienced, discreet and trustworthy, reinforcing his intention to get closer.
The messages also include expressions such as "you are beautiful" and "angel", sent in contexts that were assessed by the courts as inappropriate for a work relationship.
RELATION OF THE CASE WITH FLAMENGO
Rodrigo Paiva was even considered to join the communications team at Flamengo before the accusations were widely publicized. With the court decision and the dismissal for just cause from CBF, it is unlikely that Mais Querido will continue with any negotiations involving the former director.

Flamengo idol Adriano Imperador stated in an interview that he played more than some of the biggest names in world football. With a career marked by talent, physical strength, and humility , "Didico" continues to be fondly remembered by Flamengo fans.
During an appearance on the show Boteco do Chula, Adriano was asked if he had performed at a higher level than stars like Ronaldo, Romário, Ibrahimovic, Mbappé, Lewandowski, and Gabigol . The former player candidly stated that he considers himself superior to some of them.
In the Emperor's opinion, Kyllian Mbappé, Robert Lewandowski, and Gabigol are behind him . However, according to Adriano himself, Romário, Ibrahimovic , and Ronaldo Fenômeno are in a higher tier.
Adriano's most significant connection with the club came in the 2009 Brazilian Championship .
