Fired this Monday morning, Tite< /a> failed to implement the expected performance at Flamengo since his arrival. Furthermore, the strong pressure from the fans would have influenced both the board and the coach himself. According to Lédio Carmona, the coach "felt" the weight of this situation. He appeared visibly dejected in the post-game press conference, and, even after the victory that kept the team in the G4 of the Brasileirão, the atmosphere of dismissal was already noticeable.

“He is emotionally fragile, I think he was unable to mobilize emotionally , in soul terms, the players. If you look at Flamengo's goal celebration, it will look like a goal at 15 in the first half, players celebrated in an almost cold way. And the information we have is that the locker room after the game is a very cold locker room”, analyzed Lédio.

Lédio Carmona highlighted that, in addition to the elimination in the Libertadores, the main reason for Tite has been underperforming, especially in recent months. The absence of Pedro, an essential player for the coach's scheme, left the team vulnerable, further exposing the team's flaws.

“He couldn't make the team play well, he couldn't find solutions, he couldn't It improved the players' mental side. And this brought reflections from the board in terms of this, on his emotional side, on the team's soul”, added Lédio.

Now, with Filipe Luís taking charge until the end of the year, the expectation is that there will be no there is only a change of name in the technical area, but also a change in the team's tactics and posture on the field. Filipe, who has a good relationship with the players, is betting on a more modern game proposal to try to save Flamengo's season.

Despite Undefeated this season, with 13 wins and five draws in 18 matches, and having conceded just three goals, two with the main squad and under the command of Tite, Flamengo has not escaped criticism. Rio de Janeiro champion with two victories in the final, the red and black team has been criticized for poor performances in recent games, starting with the clash against Millonarios, in the Libertadores.

The analysis made is that the results achieved by the team have been better than the performances, as vice-president Marcos Braz said after the victory over Atlético-GO, Sunday.

Although they are still solid defensively, Flamengo no longer presents the same security as at other times of the State. Furthermore, the team has found it difficult to attack teams with more defensive proposals, which may explain the poor performances when they had an extra man against Millonarios and Atlético-GO.

"I think there's still some missing the understanding of some movements that players have to make within this more positional style of the team, even though this works in other scenarios when the opponent is behind and has intense players, with good physical capacity and understanding of marking to make a move. good job, Flamengo finds it more difficult than usual to break through this block",  analyzed Rodrigo Coutinho, SporTV commentator.

— "In 11 against 11 Flamengo was bad, in 10 against 11 it got worse Furthermore, because the opposing team has to score further back, so spaces become rarer, he concluded.

On the other hand, experts also indicate that the performances below expectations could be the result of a problem behavior of the Flamengo squad. In general, the red and black team has started the games well, but slows down after opening the scoring.

"The team has shown difficulty in maintaining the intensity and high level of concentration on a regular basis in the games. The feeling is that the team has so much confidence in its technical quality that it believes it can solve games at any time",  analyzed journalist Pedro Moreno,
