Flamengo, in partnership with NTT Data, one of the largest technology companies in the world, announced the implementation of SAP Ariba in its supply management area. This platform promises to bring automation and optimization to the club's purchasing process. SAP Ariba is an ERP-type business management system, custom-developed to integrate different organization processes and automate specific tasks.
Since 2019, Flamengo was looking for a robust solution like SAP Ariba to professionalize its supply area. According to Marcela Mello, manager of Flamengo, the implementation of the platform provides more transparency and traceability, as well as process control. She highlights that it is now possible to launch fairer competitions, thanks to the connection with millions of commercial partners around the world.
This partnership between Flamengo, NTT Data and SAP has been fundamental in driving modernization and efficiency club operations. Simone Souza, Flamengo's SAP analyst, praises the collaboration between the parties, highlighting it as essential for the success of SAP implementation projects.
This initiative represents a significant advance in Flamengo's supply management, marking the third SAP project implemented by NTT Data in different areas of the club's management. With this, the club seeks not only to improve its internal processes, but also to remain competitive in an increasingly technological and globalized environment.
In April, Flamengo will face an agenda full of challenges, competing in three different tournaments. Under the command of coach Tite, the team will play in the Campeonato Carioca, Copa Libertadores and Campeonato Brasileiro.

Flamengo begins its journey towards the semifinals of the Copa Libertadores this Thursday (18) . The first leg against Estudiantes (ARG) will be held at Maracanã, at 9:30 pm (Brasília time), and will have a full house.
All tickets were sold in advance, guaranteeing an estimated attendance of around 69,000. The expectation is that the Red-Black Nation will fill every section of the stadium , transforming the Maracanã into a cauldron to push the team toward victory.
