Gerson is at the top of three very important rankings for the Brasileirão. The red-and-black team is one of the highlights of the competition, according to data collected, organized and published by the statistical portal Sofascore. The player is among those who made the most assists, decisive passes and created the most clear scoring chances.
Sofascore released this Wednesday afternoon (11) an update of its 'rankings' regarding the performance of athletes competing in the Brazilian Championship, after the 26th round ended this weekend. Flamengo has two constant representatives: Arrascaeta and Gerson, but the Brazilian even more so.
To date, 'Joker' has been on the field for 1,799 minutes in games in the points tournament. In this time, he has managed to create nine clear scoring chances and is tied with his teammate in second place in the rankings. First place goes to Eduardo from Botafogo, who created 10 clear scoring chances.
In terms of decisive passes for the game, both offensively and defensively, Gerson is in 5th place. With 47 decisive passes, the midfielder is behind Vitor Bueno from Athletico-PR (48 passes), Lucas Lima from Santos (49 passes), Lucas Evangelista from Bragantino (54 passes) and Cauly from Bahia (59 passes).
