The cosmetics brand ended its contract with the singer after her attacks on the LGBTQIA+ community

0This Monday (28), Jojo Todynho spoke again about the controversy with the cosmetics brand < b>Avon. Last week, the company stated that it would not maintain a contract with the influencer. The reason would be Anitta's ex-friend's attacks on the LGBTQIA+ community. Thus, the singer asked her followers to throw the brand's products in the trash.
Jojo Todynho commented about the subject in Instagram stories. The singer said that the contract with the cosmetics brand runs until December: “It [the contract] ends on December 29th. Obviously, it will not be renewed. And Avon wasn't going to cancel the contract with me because they weren't going to pay this million-dollar termination. So, they will pay by December”, she assured.
Soon afterwards, she denied that she had been "discarded" by the company: “They didn't say anything, they didn't speak out... Since when I renewed this contract, I already knew that the contract would be for this year, there wouldn't be one next year. So, there was no 'discard', but it's good to understand that Avon let people find whatever they wanted.”
Jojo also asked its followers and internet users to "throw away" the brand's products: “Avon left it vacant, [let] this joke take hold on the internet. Don't consume any more, do as I did: I threw all my lipsticks away. If it doesn't work for me, it doesn't work for anyone. Totally disappointed”, said the influencer.
The celebrity ended her criticism of the company by stating that Avon is allowing itself to be carried away by “ideology”: “A brand that is allowing itself to be carried away by ideology, that we can no longer express who we are. There are several wonderful brands, I don’t worry about losing contracts with the brands”, reinforced Jojo.
