Striker who is already starting to move the market, Carlinhos, from Nova Iguaçu, has not only aroused interest from Flamengo so far. According to the Bica Galo channel, Atlético-MG is also closely watching the Laranja da Baixada center forward. The top scorer is viewed favorably by the Minas Gerais board and a proposal could be formalized soon.

Aged 27, Carlinhos is a member of Corinthians' youth teams and has accumulated nine goals in the Campeonato Carioca, being one of the top scorers, alongside by Pedro, from Flamengo. Previously, Atlético-MG wanted Rodrigo Muniz, from Fulham, but the deal did not work out due to Muniz's desire to remain in Europe. Now, Atlético's position could be on top of the spotlight in Cariocão.

As Nova Iguaçu is in the semi-final of the State against Vasco, a sale in the next few days is seen as unfeasible for the Baixada Fluminense team. However, after the Campeonato Carioca, the tendency is strong that Carlinhos will go to a club that competes in Série A of the Brasileirão. In addition to Flamengo and Atlético-MG, other teams are also watching.

Carlinhos' career, desire for Flamengo and Atlético-MG

Born in São Paulo, Carlinhos stands out for his height (1.95m) and at the base he went through Corinthians, Noroeste and Coríntios. Furthermore, he has already worn the shirts of Oeste, Novorizontino, Vila Nova, Marcílio Dias, Atibaia, São Caetano, Santo André, Audax Rio and Juventus-SP. If Carlinhos arrives at Flamengo today, he would compete for position with athletes like Gabigol and Pedro. The information about Fla's interest in the player was given by journalists Gabriel Reis and Julio Miguel Neto.
