Vasco gained an important ally in the dispute for reformation of São Januário: Delair Dumbrosck, former president of Flamengo. The former red-black president participated in discussions to speed up the approval of the procedures for the sale of the construction potential of his rival's stadium. The club is awaiting approval from the City Council to begin the works.
