Tuesday, January 7, was marked by significant changes at Flamengo, with dismissal of important professionals at the club. According to journalist Mauro Cezar Pereira, the administration of Luiz Eduardo Baptista, Bap, decided to change command of the Olympic Sports department. Marcus Vinícius Simões Freire took over the role from Marcelo Vido, who had been at the club since 2012.
