But the pain did not stop, and last year, during Flamengo's holidays in December, the coach took advantage of the break to operate and fit a prosthesis with doctor Rodrigo Lasmar, from Atlético-MG and who worked with the coach on the Brazilian team.
“Everything was great. Tite is undergoing physiotherapy and recovering very well”, Rodrigo Lasmar told GE, at the time, before explaining:
“The surgery was to place a customized prosthesis on the knee, which is from a new generation, produced by a 3D printer that makes a tailor-made prosthesis for the patient, allowing the best results”, he says.
