Mesmo com a temporada ainda longe da metade, Lucas Paquetá já apresenta números superiores aos da sua última passagem pelo futebol inglês e se aproxima da melhor marca que atingiu no West Ham. O meia chegou ao sexto gol em 2026 ao balançar as redes na goleada por 4 a 1 sobre o Independiente Medellín, em atuação de destaque no Maracanã, em seu 19º jogo pelo Flamengo no ano.
Após a partida, o camisa 20 celebrou o momento vivido e destacou o peso emocional da fase atual: “Especial demais. É uma sensação única. Passa um filme na cabeça por tudo que eu passei. É gratificante demais poder comemorar com essa torcida mais três pontos e mais um gol”.

Na busca pela liderança do Campeonato Brasileiro, o Flamengo entra em campo neste domingo (19) para enfrentar o Bahia, pela 12ª rodada da competição. A partida acontece às 19h30 (horário de Brasília), no Maracanã, e promete ser decisiva na briga pelas primeiras posições da tabela.
O confronto não terá transmissão em TV aberta, ficando disponível apenas no canal por assinatura Premiere. Além da cobertura tradicional, a emissora oferecerá uma opção diferenciada ao público: uma narração alternativa comandada pelos integrantes do Charla Podcast, ampliando as possibilidades para os torcedores acompanharem o duelo.
O duelo entre Flamengo e Bahia é tratado como um típico “jogo de seis pontos”. Isso porque as duas equipes vivem situação semelhante na tabela de classificação. Ambas somam 20 pontos e ainda possuem uma partida a menos em relação à maioria dos concorrentes diretos.

O Flamengo realizou investimentos relevantes no mercado sob a gestão de José Boto, com contratações de impacto como Lucas Paquetá, Danilo e Jorginho. Ainda assim, nenhuma negociação exigiu tanto esforço da diretoria quanto a chegada de Jorge Carrascal. O acerto com o Dínamo de Moscou se transformou em uma longa “novela”, marcada por entraves operacionais e mudanças constantes ao longo das tratativas.
José Boto sobre contratação de Carrascal no Flamengo: "lidar com os russos não é fácil..."
Em entrevista à FlamengoTV, José Boto detalhou os bastidores da operação e apontou os principais desafios enfrentados: “Primeiro, lidar com os russos não é fácil. Depois, havia uma grande diferença de fuso horário. Em um dia, eles diziam uma coisa, no outro mudavam tudo. Além disso, existiam dificuldades econômicas, porque a circulação de dinheiro não é simples. Também tivemos que envolver outro clube na negociação”, explicou o dirigente.
Segundo Boto, o Flamengo iniciou as conversas ainda no meio de 2025, antes mesmo da disputa da Copa do Mundo de Clubes. A ideia era contar com Carrascal no torneio, realizado nos Estados Unidos, mas o desfecho só aconteceu semanas depois, já em agosto, tornando essa a negociação mais longa conduzida pela atual gestão.
Para garantir a contratação do meia colombiano, o Flamengo desembolsou cerca de 12 milhões de euros (aproximadamente R$ 77 milhões). Parte desse valor, inclusive, foi direcionada ao Atlético-MG, que participou da operação de forma indireta. Isso porque o clube russo utilizou a quantia para viabilizar a contratação do meio-campista Rubens. Dessa forma, o Mengão precisou ajustar o modelo de pagamento, enviando uma porcentagem diretamente à equipe mineira para concluir o acordo.
Dentro de campo, Carrascal teve bom desempenho em 2025, mas iniciou a temporada de 2026 enfrentando dificuldades. O jogador foi expulso em partidas contra Corinthians, pela Supercopa, e Fluminense, pelo Campeonato Brasileiro, acumulando quatro jogos de suspensão.
Com isso, o meia não estará disponível para o confronto diante do Bahia, neste domingo (19), às 19h30 (horário de Brasília), pelo Brasileirão. A expectativa é que, após cumprir a punição, o colombiano volte a ser opção para o técnico e tente retomar o bom nível apresentado anteriormente.
