Due to the fans and the club's history, Flamengo has long been considered a national team and not just a football team. The arrival of Tite, the former coach of the Brazilian national team, further accentuates this notion, especially taking into account some changes he has already made that bring Mais Querido closer to the Canarinho team.

Many habits have been changed in Mengão's day-to-day life, but one of them has attracted public attention and is related to the Press Conferences after the games. Since arriving at the Gávea club, the Flamengo coach is usually not alone to be interviewed. His 'special guests' are part of his technical team.

In Fla's last match, for example, the person chosen to be with Tite was his assistant César Sampaio. Before that, the physical trainer, Fabio Mahseredjian, the medical department manager, Marcio Tannure, and the other assistant Matheus Bachi, had already had this privilege.

Tite brought the practice from his time in the Brazilian team, where he stayed for six years, between 2016 and 2022. The idea has always been to share ideas and information with journalists and the public through different points of contact. View. Furthermore, the attitude ends up reinforcing that all professionals who are working with the players have the same level of importance and responsibilities.

The coach even directs questions to the professionals who accompany him, if the questions do not arise naturally from the reporters. It is not uncommon for him to transfer topics to his table companions, identifying those as the most suitable for the answer.

However, it is interesting to point out that there will not always be someone at Tite's side, especially due to the structure of some stadiums, which do not accommodate a larger delegation to the Conferences. It should also be noted that, regardless of the fact that Tite was responsible for bringing the new habit to the red-and-black reality, he is not the only one who chooses who will accompany him in the interviews. The decision is a joint effort, involving the board, press office and the coach.
