Released last Thursday (15), the Netflix documentary Baila, Vini quickly became one of the most talked about subjects in European football. The production portrays the trajectory of Vinicius Junior , from his childhood in São Gonçalo, through Flamengo to stardom at Real Madrid . Despite the positive reception from many fans, the material also provoked a strong reaction among rival fans, especially from Barcelona.
Groups linked to the Catalan club have started a campaign on social media to undermine the documentary's rating. The campaign is instructing fans to give it a minimum rating (1 star), with phrases such as " it is not possible to give it zero ". By early evening this Saturday (17), the initiative had had an effect: on one of the websites specializing in reviews of audiovisual productions, the film had a rating of 3.0 out of a total of 10.
Vinicius' name also appeared in an unfortunate episode during the celebrations of Barcelona's Spanish title , won on the same Thursday (15). During the street party, a fan wore a Real Madrid shirt with the name " Ficticius " and the number zero, in a provocation to the Brazilian. Even more serious: the man painted himself with black paint, characterizing an act of " blackface ", considered racism.
The practice dates back to the 19th century, when white artists would apply dark makeup to mock black people in theater shows. Today, it is widely condemned and classified as a racist act . Vinicius, it is worth remembering, has been a recurring target of racial slurs in Spanish stadiums in recent years, which increases the symbolic weight of this episode.
The controversy surrounding Baila, Vini is not limited to fans . According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Valencia is considering taking legal action against Netflix . The club disputes the way it was portrayed in the documentary, especially in relation to the episode of racial abuse suffered by Vinicius at the Mestalla stadium in May 2023.
At the time, Vini was called “mono” (monkey) by some of the fans , as recorded in images and investigations. However, the club maintains that the words were “ tonto ” (fool) and accuses Netflix of distorting the facts, which would motivate possible legal action.

Flamengo beat Internacional 1-0 this Wednesday (13) , at Maracanã, and started with an advantage in the round of 16 of the Copa Libertadores. Despite the positive result, striker Bruno Henrique assessed that the team lost performance in the second half and explained the reasons for the drop in intensity.
" In the second half, for the first 15 minutes , we want to score right away, and it ends up deviating a bit from what we planned at halftime. We end up being a bit exposed, and the opposing team scores a lot in the first half. In the second half, they have to open up to try to score," said the number 27.
"That's what happened against Internacional. They scored the whole time in the first half. We had more possession, more shots, and more through balls. Midfielder Jorge Carrascal made his debut for Flamengo this Wednesday (13), against Internacional , in a duel valid for the round of 16 of the Copa Libertadores. The Colombian player, who was already regularized, was related last Saturday (9), against Mirassol, but did not enter the field on that occasion.
The opportunity arose during the continental tournament. Carrascal replaced Gonzalo Plata in the 28th minute of the second half and remained on the field for 23 minutes, including stoppage time. Playing at the Maracanã, the athlete made his first appearances in an official match for the red-and-black jersey.

Flamengo showed strength and organization from the opening whistle to defeat Internacional in the first leg of the Copa Libertadores Round of 16, controlling the action against the Colorado team in a packed Maracanã stadium.
