Just when you think the “antis” madness couldn’t go too far, something even more comical happens. This Thursday (18), images showing a Vasco man cursing the bus carrying the Flamengo team went viral on social media.
At the time, the man was riding a bicycle through Rio de Janeiro, while the Mais Querido bus passed. Upon observing the vehicle, the cyclist looks back and shouts: “This is Vascão”. What caught our attention was that because the Vasco native wasn't looking ahead, he tripped over his bike and fell to the ground in an extremely comical way. Social networks did not spare the citizen.
On the social network “X”, the profile “Urubu Tira Onda” was responsible for sharing the post, even declaring: “God is very Flamengo” , due to the fact that the fall occurred seconds after swearing at the Mais Querido bus. At the time of writing this article, the publication had almost 1,500 views.
This was not the first time that a Vasco fan was embarrassed in 2024. The team's management even became a meme for wanting to gain the same amount of sponsorship as Flamengo. The case was reported during a podcast with a CEO of an online betting house.
Daniel Trajano, who runs Esportes da Sorte, told the curious case, which generated a flurry of jokes on social media: “To try to get a raise together with Pixbet, they wanted almost the same value as Flamengo. But it can't compare today. ‘Either pay me the same as Flamengo or get out’. Flamengo receives R$110 million. And Vascoreceived 22 million. They wanted five times the price. And it's still out today.
