The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) confirmed the refereeing team for the clash between Flamengo and Vitória, valid for the 38th and final round of the Brazilian Championship 2024. The game will take place next Sunday (08), at 4pm (Brasília time), at the Maracanã stadium. Lucas Casagrande from Paraná will be responsible for blowing the whistle.
Casagrande, who has accumulated good performances in the competition, will be assisted by Neuza Ines Back (SP), a renowned Brazilian assistant with international experience, and Victor Hugo Imazu Dos Santos (PR). The team on the field will be complemented by fourth referee Vinicius Gonçalves Dias Araujo, from São Paulo.

Officially presented this Monday with the number 15 shirt, Jorge Carrascal arrived at Flamengo with the mission of strengthening the creative sector, occupying a role in which Arrascaeta has been a reference since 2019. Although he has not yet debuted with the Manto Sagrado, the Colombian midfielder stated that playing for the Rio de Janeiro club represents an important milestone in his professional career.
"The truth is, I came to Flamengo with a purpose: to work, compete, and achieve the best for the club. The short-term goal is to play and earn matches. I'll work hard, focus on the clear objective, and the lineup will depend on the coach," the player declared.
During the interview, Carrascal made a point of praising the club's structure and the Mais Querido's representation in the South American scene. According to him, the decision to wear the red-and-black jersey was made with conviction.
