Disagreement between fighter and singer culminates in aggression and exchange of accusations on social media

On Friday night (21), in a bar in São Paulo, fighter Luiz Otavio Mesquita, son of presenter Otavio Mesquita, slapped singer Nego do Borel in the face. The confusion was recorded on video and posted on social media. The animosity between the two had already been intensifying throughout the week, with accusations exchanged online.
Nego do Borel began filming Luiz Otavio's approach, stating that he would not give the fighter "media" and calling Luiz and his "boring" father. After the provocations, Luiz Otavio reacted with physical aggression. Both those involved were contacted by Estadão, but have not yet officially responded. However, they continued to express their sorrows on social media.
The disagreement between Luiz Otavio Mesquita and Nego do Borel is not recent. In March, during a participation in the program Domingo Legal, presented by Celso Portiolli, the two had already become strange. On that occasion, Celso mentioned a recent boxing fight between Nego do Borel and MC Gui, in which MC Gui emerged victorious. Luiz Otavio, participating in the program on an opposing team, used Nego do Borel's defeat to provoke him and challenged him to a fight, making reference to the accusations of domestic violence against the singer.

After the confusion in the bar, Nego do Borel published the video of the incident and threatened the fighter: "You're screwed, you piece of shit! I'm going to denounce you and sue you that you will sell your house to pay me", wrote the singer. In response, Luiz Otavio published a video this Saturday morning, explaining that he lost his temper after hearing insults directed at his father.

Notícias da TV confirmed that the celebrity will take on a project that became known as Transformação, shown on Planeta Xuxa, where a participant from the audience was chosen to pass for a change in appearance, with the result revealed at the end of the program.
Now, the idea is that Sasha Meneghel's mother will continue with the painting and, in addition, also play cupid between dogs and cats or even their owners.
The attraction must also show the pets getting names and certificates, also following the adaptation phase of their new home. The proposal came from the communicator herself, who is already known for her love of pets.
The painting was developed in partnership with producer Romana Bakker, with whom Xuxa worked between 2008 and 2019 and also took at the time to who was on the Record cast. The release date has not yet been confirmed.

The rumors, which had been going around since January, increased during Carnival , when the two appeared together in Camarote Expresso 2222, by Gilberto Gil. They even sparked romance rumors again when they attended Preta's father's show together at Lollapalooza, at the Autódromo de Interlagos, in São Paulo.
Recently, the singer left comments on the artist's publications, but arrived stating that she remains single after her controversial separation with her ex, Rodrigo Godoy, who cheated on her while she was undergoing cancer treatment.
Kannalha is famous for hits such as Verão Doce, Fraquinha, Final de Semana in Favela, Penetra, Calado Vence 777, Traficante de Desires and the most recent, Nego Doce. In 2023, Kannalha made his debut at the Bahian Carnival as a singer and revealed that he was hiding from his mother to skip the festivities when he was a teenager.

This Saturday (22), the funk player was slapped in the face by Otávio Mesquita's son, on Friday night (21/6), in a bar in São Paulo and, soon, internet users began to speculate that it was of something combined. “It wasn’t [marketing], no. I'm going to smash his face", said the singer, when asked if the trouble was set up.
Nego said that he intends to register a formal complaint against the boy: "I'm talking to my lawyers, they asked so we can go together [to the police station].” The artist assured that his legal advisor was outside Brazil and, therefore, the incident has not yet been carried out.
On his Instagram profile, Nego do Borel also vented and spoke about the episode. “This is no joke, this does not exist, this cannot happen anymore. People are confusing everything, it's no joke. This won’t happen again”, he wrote in a story.
