O Flamengo prepara uma grande festa para a sua torcida no Maracanã durante a decisão da Copa Libertadores. Assim como ocorreu na campanha de 2019, o clube planeja realizar novamente a Fun Fest, evento que reúne torcedores no estádio com transmissão ao vivo da final. A ação está prevista para o dia 29 de novembro e será destinada a quem não viajar ao Peru para acompanhar o duelo contra o Palmeiras.
A diretoria trabalha para disponibilizar aproximadamente 70 mil ingressos ao público. A expectativa interna é de forte procura desde o início das vendas. O evento aguarda apenas o ajuste de detalhes operacionais antes do anúncio oficial. A informação foi divulgada inicialmente pelo jornalista Venê Casagrande.
A edição de 2019 da Fun Fest marcou época e registrou um grande público. Na ocasião, o Maracanã foi equipado com diversos telões espalhados pelo estádio e recebeu apresentações musicais de artistas populares, como Ludmilla e MC Poze, que animaram os torcedores durante toda a tarde.
A festa foi encerrada com a conquista da taça continental após a vitória sobre o River Plate por 2 a 1, em Lima, resultado que intensificou o simbolismo do evento para a Nação que sempre pediu o retorno do evento.
Nas decisões seguintes do torneio, o cenário foi diferente. Em 2021, a diretoria optou por não realizar a Fun Fest devido aos altos custos envolvidos, e o jogo no Uruguai terminou com o vice-campeonato contra o Palmeiras. Em 2022, a mesma decisão foi adotada, novamente por questões financeiras, apesar da conquista do título diante do Athletico-PR, em final disputada no Equador.
