With the European season approaching its end, West Ham has already begun its restructuring process. One of the names that could leave the English club from June is the Brazilian Lucas Paquetá , formerly of Flamengo. The midfielder, who is being investigated for alleged involvement in sports betting , has been placed on the list of negotiable athletes.
According to information from the English portal Claret & Hugh, in addition to Paquetá, five other players are also available on the market : Edson Álvarez , Guido Rodríguez , Mohammed Kudus , Maxwel Cornet and Emerson Palmieri . The London club's idea is to rejuvenate the squad for next season.
Lucas Paquetá is still under investigation for allegedly forcing yellow cards to benefit bets. The Football Association (FA), the body that regulates football in England, is expected to release the outcome of the case after the end of the season . If found guilty, the midfielder could be banned from football . However, there is also the possibility of a complete acquittal.
Flamengo is closely following the developments of the case. Recently, the club made a loan proposal to West Ham , which was promptly rejected. With the refusal, the Rubro-Negro chose to end the negotiations at that time. However, depending on the outcome of the investigation, a new approach is not ruled out .
With an eye on the Club World Cup , Flamengo is keeping an eye on the market in search of a midfielder to share responsibilities with Arrascaeta . Although there are no officially confirmed names, the interest in a reinforcement in the position is clear behind the scenes.
While Paquetá's future remains uncertain, Flamengo is focused on the present. The team led by Filipe Luís returns to the field this Thursday (15), at 9:30 pm (Brasília time), at Maracanã, against LDU. The match is valid for the fifth round of the group stage of the Libertadores and could be decisive for the club's future in the continental tournament.

For this Saturday's match (09), at 6:30 pm (Brasília time), against Mirassol , for the 19th round of the Brasileirão, the partial number of tickets sold has already exceeded 48 thousand . The expectation is for another packed Maracanã to push the team towards victory.
According to journalist Venê Casagrande, attendance is projected to easily surpass 50,000 , potentially reaching close to 60,000, reinforcing the spectacle the fans have been putting on throughout the season. Ticket sales are still active, and fans can still secure their presence through the official website: ingressos.flamengo.com.br .
Striker Luiz Araújo trained normally at Ninho do Urubu this Thursday (07) and increased his chances of being available to face Mirassol. According to journalist Lemos Santos, the number 7 should be included for the duel at Maracanã.
Absent from the last match due to injury, Luiz Araújo is considered a key player by coach Filipe Luís . His speed and ability to break through lines add depth and unpredictability to the red-and-black attack, and he's seen as a significant addition to the team.
