0For the first time in history, Flamengo U20 are champions of the Libertadores! The unprecedented title came with the signature of Lorran, the base's main jewel. The number 10 gave a beautiful assist to Shola and scored the great goal that closed the 2-1 victory over Boca Juniors (ARG). Ignacio Rodríguez discounted. The game was decided in the initial stage, when Flamengo was much better. In the second half, the red and blacks preferred defense.
Not just Lorran stood out. Right-back Lucyan and midfielder Rayan Lucas played a lot, and Nigerian Shola was a nightmare for the right side of Boca's defense. Flamengo had a worrying start when they conceded a goal after just four minutes, from Rodríguez, in a move with general inattention from the defense. After that, the first half was all red and black.
The team did it great understanding on the right side, with good performances from Lucyan, Rayan Lucas, Wallace Yan and Lorran. Rayan found a beautiful pass for Lorran to cross for Shola to equalize. Then it was Lorran himself who scored a great goal in a beautiful table with Lucyan. The Nigerian was important when fighting for the ball near the red-black area.
Flamengo started the second half with great opportunities for Shola to kill the game, but the Nigerian didn't take advantage of them. After that, the ball no longer belonged to Flamengo. On the other hand, Boca Juniors roamed the red and black area the entire time, but were not in danger.
Iago, team captain, played sacrifice for a long time, and the midfield and defense had exemplary behavior, preventing the rival from having space to finish. In the end, several substitutes came on, and Flamengo managed to keep possession of the ball in attack.
The red and black team maintained their intensity from start to finish and built an elastic score naturally
