Flamengo continues to demonstrate why it is considered the most feared team in the 2025 Brasileirão. According to a survey by the "DataFut" profile, the Rubro-Negro dominates the offensive presence category, leading both in touches in the final third and in expected goals (xG). In practice, this efficiency translates into the best attack in the competition, with 11 goals scored so far.
The graph reveals that Flamengo is the team that exchanges the most passes in the attacking sector, but the biggest highlight is its ability to transform this possession into real goal opportunities. Rubro-Negro has an impressive 2.2 goals per game, with numbers that reinforce its high offensive quality.

Even with a better attack, Flamengo wastes many chances
Flamengo creates, on average, 3.6 big scoring chances per game, although they still waste two clear opportunities per match, something that, if adjusted, could make the team even more lethal.
With 15.2 shots per game (6.2 of which were on target), Filipe Luís' team demonstrates aggression and consistency. The intense offensive movement is also reflected in the number of fouls suffered (11.6 direct shots per game).
Flamengo not only dominates possession and occupies the opponent's field, but also transforms this offensive presence into concrete numbers. Still, the Rubro-Negro can be even more objective due to the number of chances it creates. If this is corrected, it will be very difficult for the Mais Querido to have results like the 0x0 against Vasco.
This Sunday (27), Mengão will have the opportunity to show its offensive power in front of a completely packed Maracanã, with all tickets sold for the duel against Corinthians, at 4 pm, for the sixth round of the Brasileirão.
The Superior Court of Sports Justice has authorized the number 27 to play until the appeal is heard; the striker, however, is not expected to face Juventude.

The Superior Court of Sports Justice (STJD) granted this Saturday (13) a suspensive effect to striker Bruno Henrique, punished with a 12-match suspension in a case related to betting manipulation . The decision frees the athlete to play for Mais Querido until the appeal filed by the defense is analyzed by the Court's Plenary.
The ruling cites article 53, § 4, of Law No. 9,615/1998 and article 147-B, item II , of the Brazilian Code of Sports Justice (CBJD), determining the suspension of the effects of the penalty until the final judgment.
Despite the legal relief, the number 27 should not enter the field this Sunday (14), against Juventude , for the 23rd round of the Brazilian Championship. Flamengo reported that the athlete presented pain after training on Saturday and will undergo a load control to be in better conditions for the clash on Thursday (18), against Estudiantes, for the Copa Libertadores .
If the full court upholds the 12-game penalty, the suspension will be served exclusively in Brazilian Championship matches. To extend the punishment to other competitions, such as international tournaments, the STJD Prosecutor's Office would need to issue a specific notification.
In a statement, Clube de Regatas do Flamengo emphasized that granting the suspension guarantees the striker's full playing status until the court reviews the case. The statement also mentioned that dissenting votes in the 1st Disciplinary Committee indicated the possible statute of limitations on the sentence.
With a player sent off in the first half, the Madrid team wins away from home with goals from Mbappé and Güler and remains 100% in La Liga

Despite playing with ten men since the 31st minute of the first half , Real Madrid defeated Real Sociedad 2-1 this Saturday at the Anoeta stadium in San Sebastián. Mbappé opened the scoring and also provided the assist for Güler to extend the lead, while Oyarzabal scored for the Basque team.
With the result, the Madrid team remains at the top of the Spanish Championship, with 12 points and a 100% record after four rounds. The match had a decisive moment in the first half, when defender Huijsen received a straight red card for pulling down Oyarzabal during a Real Sociedad counterattack.
At that point, the visitors were already leading 1-0 with a goal from Mbappé , who also hit the post and was instrumental in the second goal, scored by Güler . In the second half, led by Oyarzabal, Real Sociedad increased the pressure. Marín hit Courtois's post, and soon after, Oyarzabal reduced the deficit from the penalty spot in the 10th minute. The Basque team's number 10 even forced a great save from the Belgian goalkeeper on another attempt.
Among the Brazilians, Vini Júnior started but had a lackluster performance and was replaced by Fran García in the 23rd minute of the second half . Éder Militão showed defensive confidence and appeared in attack on a few occasions. Rodrygo remained on the bench for the entire match.
With Real Sociedad pressing, coach Xabi Alonso reinforced the defense in the final stretch . Real Madrid managed to hold on to their lead and return to the Spanish capital with high morale ahead of their Champions League opener next Tuesday against Olympique de Marseille at the Santiago Bernabéu.
