Bruno Henrique, a Flamengo forward, has ended a legal case that investigated him for ideological falsehood and use of a false document. The case began in March 2020, when the player was stopped at a Lei Seca checkpoint in the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro and presented an irregular National Driver's License (CNH). In addition, the athlete refused to take a breathalyzer test, which led to the opening of a police investigation.
To avoid more severe criminal action, Bruno Henrique reached a plea agreement in April 2022, agreeing to pay a fine of R$100,000 and make donations to four non-governmental organizations (NGOs). The resolution of the case was made official in the 36th Criminal Court of the Court of Justice of Rio de Janeiro, with the approval of the Public Prosecutor's Office.
With that, according to investigations by the Mix Vale portal, the Flamengo striker's case was completely closed by the courts in 2025, reassuring the athlete with fewer off-field problems. The number 27 will travel with the team to face Deportivo Táchira, for the Libertadores, next Thursday (3).

The Rio de Janeiro Civil Police found that the document presented by the player was not registered with the Rio de Janeiro State Traffic Department. This finding was confirmed by an expert analysis carried out by the Carlos Éboli Criminalistics Institute, which classified the driver's license as forged. After being approached, Bruno Henrique gave a statement at the 16th Police Station, denying any wrongdoing, which prolonged the investigation until the formalization of the plea agreement.
Despite the outcome of the CNH case, the player's extrajudicial situation has not yet been completely resolved. The striker remains under investigation for possible manipulation of sports betting, a scandal that came to light in November 2024, during Operation Spot-Fixing, conducted by the Federal Police and the Public Prosecutor's Office.
