This Wednesday (9), Luiz Eduardo Baptista , Bap, issued a statement of repudiation against the homophobic attacks made by José Carlos Peruano on a group of Flamengo advisors on WhatsApp. Withdrawing from the presidential race to support Rodrigo Dunshee, Peruano insulted the opposition candidate in the election for the club's presidency and his voters.
Audios released by the newspaper Metrópoles this Tuesday (8) show Peruano making several attacks on Bap, all with a homophobic nature. Swearing that started after a debate about Zico saying he supports Botafogo when Flamengo is not involved. Idol is a supporter of Bap, Dunshee's main opponent according to the polls.
“You idiots, you b…. Your candidate gives c… and sucks…. You have to take it in your c…. You are a bunch of assholes, my brother. Your candidate sucks…. You want the president of Flamengo to give the c… on the president's table. So vote for this Bap, bunch of idiots. Bank of idiots created, preppy sons of bitches…”, said Peruano in the group of Flamengo advisors.
The members apparently they defended Zico, who said he would support his rival “if they don't have Flamengo” because of their “great players. This made them also become targets of the counselor's attacks.
“I I've never seen a group to have so many idiots like that. It wasn't me who spoke, he said he was going to support Botafogo. He spoke. Just go there and watch the video. Either you are very stupid, or you took the idiot exam. You have everything to take care of…”.
Candidate in 2018, Peruano announced his pre-candidacy for the presidency of Flamengo this year. But he withdrew even before registering his ticket for the election to support the candidacy of Rodrigo Dunshee, current vice-president general and supported by Rodolfo Landim.

The unacceptable attacks on our greatest idol, Zico, and the statements that incite homophobia and constitute insult, directed at the President of Flamengo's Board of Directors and our candidate for President of the Club, BAP, tarnish the image of our club, of the Flamengo institution.
