Flamengo full-back Wesley showed his support for young red-black fan Gabriella Luiza, just 13 years old, who is facing a battle against cystic fibrosis, a rare disease. His warm and caring attitude deeply touched the heart of Silvana Lima, Gabi's mother, who decided to pay a beautiful tribute to the young player.

To immortalize this special moment, Silvana chose to tattoo a moving image on his back of Wesley hugging Gabriella. This initiative moved the Flamengo full-back, who, in turn, also decided to pay tribute to the young woman. He chose to engrave Gabi's name and date of birth on his own wrist.

At age 13, Gabriella received a diagnosis that would change her life: cystic fibrosis, a rare and progressive disease that mainly affects the digestive and respiratory. Although there is no definitive cure for this condition, there are treatments available. However, one of the challenges faced by Gabi's family is the high cost of the medications needed for her treatment.

An example of this is Trixacar, the main medication in Gabriella's fight against the disease. A single box of this medicine costs around R$17,500 in Brazil, and its acquisition requires judicial approval. Faced with this situation, Silvana, Gabi's mother, found herself involved in a legal battle to guarantee access to treatment for her daughter. Furthermore, due to the complexities of the Brazilian healthcare system, she had to import boxes of Trixacar from Argentina, which made the treatment even more expensive.

Amidst these difficulties, Wesley, the young defender of the Flamengo, was touched by the "#RespiraGabi" cause and decided to extend his helping hand. At just 19 years old, he not only contributes to Gabi's treatment, but also establishes a deep bond of friendship with her. From the records shared by Silvana Lima, it is evident that the red-and-black athlete has practically become a member of the family, offering not only financial support, but also affection and emotional support.

Flamengo has not had a good run in the competitions it competes in and fans have lost patience with Tite. Thus, Anderson Macula, president of the organized fans Raça Rubro-Negra, demanded the dismissal of the coach and asked Filipe Luís to be hired as coach of the professional squad.

"Bitter Friday. A coach who doesn't has respect for the fans, who don't know what they're doing. With such a qualified squad, they can't get the team to play. Tite is so stupid that he can't see Léo Ortiz as a starter in Flamengo's midfield. the player who delivers the most in this squad. He starts the game with two midfielders, coming off an injury, with no rhythm in the game. Anyone on the edge of the field would opt for one or the other. Flamengo didn't have a midfielder. ", he said, before finishing:

"Léo Ortiz was his last option. to hire Filipe Luís. A very talented guy, who has the respect of the fans. Send Tite away and bring Gabigol to the squad. We have a game next week, which is the game of Flamengo's life", he concluded.

SITUATION MUST BE RESOLVED BY MARCOS BRAZ AND LANDIM

In addition to asking for Filipe Luís to be hired, Macula also demands that the Red and Black board of directors. According to the fan, Mais Querido's situation is in the hands of Marcos Braz and Rodolfo Landim.

"There's no point in coming to tell a story. . This creates a positive and light atmosphere to seek classification in Uruguay. So it's in the hands of Marcos Braz and Rodolfo Landim. Send Tite away, bring Filipe Luís in, take over as coach of the professional squad. We've already done it with Jayme and Andrade, so don't tell me it's premature. And take quick and effective action to save Flamengo's year", he concluded.

TITE WILL REMAIN IN POSITION

Even though many fans are calling for the departure of Tite, the coach will remain in his position. This is because the Red and Black board does not intend to fire him for now, as his contract ends on December 31st.

Flamengo will face Grêmio in Porto Alegre, but an important absence has already been confirmed: Gabigol, one of the team's main attackers, will not travel with the red-black delegation. The player will remain in Rio de Janeiro, where he will focus on improving his physical form. The decision not to take the striker to the capital of Rio Grande do Sul aims to ensure that he has enough time to dedicate himself to physical preparation at Ninho do Urubu, the club's training center. Although there is no confirmed injury, Flamengo appears to be taking precautions to avoid wear and tear that could compromise the remainder of the season.

This choice may surprise some fans, as Gabigol is one of the team's key players and, generally, an undisputed starter in decisive matches. The absence of Gabriel Barbosa, known as Gabigol, raises questions about how Flamengo should arm the team offensively for the clash. Despite Gabigol's absence, Flamengo has alternatives in attack, with players like Pedro and Bruno Henrique, who can take the lead. The expectation is that the coach will use these options to compensate for the striker's absence.

THE CLUB HAS ANOTHER LOSS

The decision to spare Gabigol may be related to the club's long-term planning. Flamengo faces a marathon of important games, and the physical recovery of its athletes becomes essential to maintain performance in simultaneous competitions. According to information released by Mauro Cezar, Gabigol is focused on improving his physical side. This could mean that the player has been feeling the wear and tear accumulated throughout the season.

Flamengo has adopted a strategy of preserving some of its main players at certain times, aiming to avoid injuries that could sideline them for long periods of time. periods. This preventive measure is common in clubs that compete in several competitions and have a tight schedule. With this, the idea is that the athlete returns in better condition, ready to perform at a higher level in the next matches.
