This Friday (22), the Copa D'Or Hospital, in Copacabana, which is in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro, released a medical bulletin for actor Kayky Brito, 34, which says he was discharged of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The good news was greatly celebrated by his mother, Sandra.
The artist had been hospitalized since September 2nd, when he was run over while crossing Avenida Lucio Costa, between stations 6 and 7, in Barra da Tijuca, West Zone from Rio de Janeiro. App driver Diones Coelho da Silva was driving the vehicle at the time of the collision and was the one who helped Kayky.
Recently, Diones managed to raise around R$176,000 in a fundraiser to be able to resume activities on the racing app . Kayky, on the other hand, is conscious and talking to his family. Last Monday (18), it was reported that the actor was undergoing speech therapy and physiotherapy treatments.
"Copa D'Or Hospital informs that patient Kayky Fernandes Brito was discharged from the therapy unit intensive care. He is conscious, talking to his family and cooperating in the orthopedic rehabilitation process", says the statement issued by Hospital Copa D'Or.
The artist's mother greatly celebrated his discharge from the ICU, saying that is very happy. "My heart is going to explode. Thank you, God. Without your presence I wouldn't be able to do it," she wrote in the caption of the publication, which showed the artist's medical report. According to the health unit, Kayky is conscious and talking to his family.

The artist said that she received the new diagnosis during routine examinations and that she began chemotherapy treatment immediately. She was admitted to Hospital Sírio-Libanês, in São Paulo.
