Botafogo expressed concern this Saturday about the security of the derby against Flamengo , at 6:30 pm this Sunday. The red-and-black club is selling tickets for the South Sector, where the black-and-white fans will be at Maracanã.
The South Sector of Maracanã is dedicated to visiting fans at Flamengo games. In games with fewer fans, such as the one against LDU last Thursday, for example, the red-and-black club usually divides the sector and sells tickets to its fans. But this is not common in matches with greater appeal, such as classics.
The Maracanã security report explicitly states that, in regional classics in which the ratio is not 50-50 , Sector C — for which the home club has been selling tickets since Friday (16) night — must remain closed... The Club requests that this decision be immediately reviewed and that the responsible bodies, as well as the home club, guarantee the safety of the black and whites in the stadium - said Botafogo in a statement.
"Botafogo publicly expresses its position on the security, operation and game service provided for the classic against Flamengo, this Sunday (18), at Maracanã, for the 9th round of the Brazilian Championship.
1 - Botafogo expresses its deep concern with the home club's decision to sell tickets to its fans in a space located in the South Sector, the same space intended for black and white fans.

Young striker Wallace Yan, 20, will be officially warned by Flamengo's board after being sent off in the match against Bahia , held last Sunday (5). The player received two yellow cards in a period of just ten minutes , in a move considered immature and avoidable by the coaching staff.
According to information released by journalist Venê Casagrande, the club decided not to remove the player from the main squad, but to impose an internal punishment of an educational nature . The measure aims to educate the player about the responsibility of acting with emotional balance in decisive matches.
