This Thursday (29), the Bruno Henrique case gained another chapter. Taking advantage of his day off, the Mais Querido striker attended the hearing, where he gave testimony about alleged involvement in betting manipulation.
It is worth noting that Bruno Henrique and other witnesses had already been summoned to the STJD last week. However, because Flamengo 's training session was at the same time as the hearing, the player was unable to attend. However, this Thursday (29), the striker was heard virtually and is now awaiting the progress of the process to find out the next steps.
Remembering that Bruno Henrique is being accused of forcing a yellow card in Flamengo 's game against Santos, for the 2023 Brasileirão. Thus, the STJD indicted the striker under Article 200 of the General Sports Law, which consists of possible fraud of manipulation of results. Thus, the player can be punished with a punishment of two to six years of suspension.
Bruno Henrique has not yet received a preventive punishment and due to this situation he continues to play in Flamengo games, and is even available to Filipe Luís for the next match of the season.
With Bruno Henrique available, Flamengo's squad now focuses on the next match. The Mais Querido returns to the field on Sunday (1), in a match against Fortaleza, at 6:30 pm, at Maraca. The match will be valid for the 11th round of the Brasileirão and could be worth the leadership of the competition.
Mais Querido faces the Minas Gerais team with sold-out tickets and four players suspended; a game valid for the 26th round of the Brasileirão.

Despite recent rumors, Flamengo is not currently negotiating to sign Tottenham's Richarlison or Arsenal's Gabriel Jesus, according to journalist Venê Casagrande. The Rio de Janeiro club's focus remains on the final stretch of the 2025 season , with no international moves currently underway.
During the last transfer window, Flamengo considered attacking reinforcements, such as Lucas Beltrán, on loan to Valencia, and Taty Castellanos, from Lazio. Neither deal came to fruition, and Flamengo opted to maintain its current squad for the remainder of the season.
Richarlison is off to a strong start to the season at Tottenham , with three goals and one assist in nine games, and has returned to the Brazilian national team under Carlo Ancelotti. Gabriel Jesus, meanwhile, is still recovering from a serious knee injury suffered in 2025 and is expected to return early next year. Despite this, neither player is currently being negotiated with Flamengo .
With the transfer window closed, José Boto's football department is focusing its efforts on competing in the Brazilian Championship and national and international competitions, keeping Filipe Luís' squad intact.
