The CBF released this Monday the audio recordings of the analysis of controversial moves in Flamengo x Atlético-GO, which took place on Sunday, at the stadium Serra Dourada. The episodes were the red card for coach Jair Ventura, from Dragão, and the second was the expulsion of Maguinho, for elbowing Bruno Henrique, which culminated in the penalty goal that gave the Rio team the victory.
Maguinho's expulsion occurred in stoppage time, when the match was tied at 1-1, and ended up generating some commotion among the players. At first, referee Andre Luiz Skettino (MG) considered it a game play, but VAR Wagner Reway (Fifa/ES) indicated that Maguinho had elbowed Bruno Henrique before touching the ball.
See the dialogue:VAR: "he elbows the ball. Stop the game (the referee orders to continue)"Referee: "arm in dispute"< b>VAR: There was an arm in the face before the dispute, I'm checking.Referee: Are you listening to me, Bruno?VAR: The ball is in the air, the player jumps and with his right arm hits the player's face (Bruno Henrique)Referee: His mouth is bleeding, okay? For me, it's a dispute. He doesn't make any additional movement to hit the face and the ball is in the air, okay?VAR: He hits the player with an elbow before the ball arrives. I recommend a review for a possible penalty.
After being called by Reway, the referee goes to the edge of the field to watch the play, but has to return to the group of players to break up confusion. Only then can he analyze it, in dialogue with Reway.
VAR: He makes the arm movement against the player's head before the ball arrives, before hitting the ball. I'll show you through the inverted (camera).VAR: He makes the movement clear in the player's head. The other arm stays in the air.VAR: He makes the additional movement.Referee: For me, he makes the additional movement and hits with the elbow. For me, it's a red card.
After the marking, Pedro took and converted the penalty and Flamengo took the lead on the scoreboard, to come out with a 2-1 victory.
The expulsion of the coach Jair Ventura occurred 13 minutes into the first half. After a foul was called in favor of Atlético-GO, the coach argues harshly with the assistant referee. The act was reported to referee Andre Luiz Skettino.
Assistant: He said two “take no *”. He told me to “take it no*”.
Immediately, Skettino went to the coach and issued a red card and Ventura left the field indignant.

In a press conference at Ninho do Urubu, goalkeeper Agustín Rossi spoke about his desire to be called up to the Argentina national team , the current world champion. Despite his dream, the goalkeeper made it clear that his priority remains Flamengo.
Rossi on his dream of joining the Argentine national team: "My job is for Flamengo"
"Obviously, I've always wanted to be called up. I think Brazilian football is very strong, not only in South America, but worldwide as well. In the last call-up, there were players from here. But I'm not thinking about that right now . I think that if I do my job well, that call-up could come," Rossi stated.
The Argentine stressed that he keeps his feet on the ground and that his main goal is to continue showing consistency for the Rubro-Negro , who have the best defense in the Brasileirão, conceding only 10 goals in 22 games. At Maracanã, the Mais Querido conceded only three goals.
"I'm in no rush, because my job is for Flamengo , day to day, game to game. My biggest focus is to maintain this streak so that the call-up can come. Of course I have that desire, but I don't treat it as a requirement . I'm Flamengo's goalkeeper, I'm responsible for Flamengo. If the call-up comes, I'll welcome it," he added.
Since joining Flamengo in 2023, Rossi has already won four titles. Last season, he was a key player in the undefeated Carioca Championship and also played in the Copa do Brasil victory. In 2025, he maintained his starting spot in the Supercopa do Brasil and the Campeonato Estadual . In total, he has represented Flamengo in 125 official matches, establishing himself as a pillar of the team.
